On my website I like to review make money online (MMO) products and training. Some of the stuff I come across is really good, some is pretty average, while other platforms are outright money grabbing scams. The idea is to help my readers make informed decisions, as this site is all about helping people make money, not lose money.
I’m glad to see you here reading this review of 5 Minute Profit Sites, as it shows you do your research before actually signing up for anything. That’s good, because it means you’re far less likely to ever become the victim of an online scam.

What Is Five Minute Profit Sites?
The catch cry of this ClickBank digital make money product is that you can make an easy $500 a day every day. That equates to about $15k per month. Who wouldn’t want to be making that kind of coin?
But is this even possible with Sam Smith’s Five Minute Profit Sites?
While ClickBank is a legit platform for both vendors and affiliates, unfortunately a lot of the products designed to help people make money are not that crash hot. There is some good stuff on ClickBank, such as ClickBank’s very own training course on making money with their platform – ClickBank University 2.0 – but many are pretty useless.
Something that immediately raised a red flag for me with Five Minute Profit Sites is when Sam starts off claiming he has a “secret” way of making money. Whenever I’ve seen that word used in the past, it’s almost always been BS on a number of levels.
For one, there usually is no secret of any kind, and secondly, programs that make this claim have so often been scams of some description.
Sam Smith makes it all sound so simple. In just 5 minutes and with 17 clicks we can be making money online and living the good life. This is achieved by building a website in 5 minutes and using the secret software to start generating all this fantastic daily income.
Both the website itself and the sales video keep flashing us income proof, trying to convince us that the system really does work. Unfortunately income proof can easily be faked, so it’s not really something solid to go on.
There is even more BS in the sales pitch, as Sam states his secret money making software if free, when it’s absolutely not free at all. It costs 37 bucks to buy it on ClickBank. He also claims you’ll be making money in 5 minutes, but that’s highly unlikely.
I’ve been making money online in various forms since 2004, and I’ve never come across anything that makes any major money instantly. Everything takes time. Even doing paid surveys you’ll have to wait to reach a payment threshold, and then wait weeks again to get paid.
Nothing online is instant in my experience.
As is common with these make money products sold on ClickBank, once you buy into 5 Minute Profit Sites you’ll be hit up with a number of upsells, as these products generally tend to make their owners more money on the backend.
How It Works
It’s true that you do actually get a website when you buy into this platform, but of itself that website is not going to do anything for you without getting traffic to the offers on this pre-made site. Creating a website is often the quickest and easiest part. It’s getting people to your website that’s a lot harder and more time consuming.
Sam says these websites he gives people are high converting websites that will make members money (quite a lot of money) all on autopilot. All you’re really getting is a premade landing page that you’ll need to send paid traffic to; either from solo ads, buying traffic, or using paid advertising like Facebook ads or Google Ads (although FB and Google don’t like landing pages or squeeze pages).
The idea is to get people to your landing page and earn affiliate commissions by promoting ClickBank products.
This is the basic process:
- Pay the fee and join Five Minute Profit Sites
- Open a ClickBank account if you don’t have one already
- Connect your ClickBank account to 5 Minute Profit Sites
- Get a subdomain name for your premade website
- Join Aweber to handle your email account
- Connect Aweber to 5 Minute Profit Sites
- Send traffic to your new website
- Start making money (hopefully)
There are a lot of other products I’ve reviewed that kind of work along the same lines as this one. You basically get given a landing page and some rudimentary training on how to get traffic. You then collect peoples’ email addresses, then start promoting products through email in the hope of getting sales and earning commissions as an affiliate.

The Traffic Methods
Five Minute Profit Sites does come with some basic training in the form of videos, and much of that training centres around traffic generation methods. Some are free methods while others will cost money.
The free methods include things like article marketing (now outdated and ineffective for the most part), blog commenting, guest posts and so on.
Using solo ads (buying space on someone else’s established email list and paying for clicks) is the main paid traffic method Sam teaches. He also mentions writing press releases. On some platforms you can do a press release for free, but often you are charged a fee these days.
You Don’t Own Your Website
This is actually a bigger deal that it sounds. In order to really own your online business, you also need to own the internet real estate it resides on, and the way to do that is to have your very own domain.
When you set up a domain with 5 Minute Profit Sites you are merely getting a subdomain of Sam’s main domain, which in effect means he owns and controls your website and not you. He can claim all these member’s websites as his own and boot people off as he pleases.
To truly own an online business, you must own the actual domain your website resides on, just like my website you are reading now. It’s totally mine and my own domain.
Target Audience
I guess this is targeting anyone who wants to make money online, but really this one is targeting newbies, as experienced marketers would quickly see the flaws and know just how weak this method Sam has created really is. Sure, it could work to a degree, but it’ll cost some bucks in paid traffic.
What I Like
- Email marketing can work
- Affiliate marketing and selling ClickBank products as an affiliate is for real
- There is some basic training
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- There is no secret system or magic money making software
- Sam says this is free when it actually costs $37
- You’ll really need to spend a lot on paid traffic to make any sales with this method
- A lot of ClickBank products are not that great
- You don’t own your own domain and therefore don’t own your website
- Some of the traffic methods taught are useless
- You’ll have the same website as everyone else who joins
- All the income claims are faked
- The training is far too basic
How Much Does Five Minute Profit Sites Cost?
Sam Smith advertises this product as free, but it actually costs $37 to join up. The spending doesn’t end there. Apart from having to pay for some traffic generation methods, there are also some upsells they’ll likely require you to buy.
There are 3 upsells in total and they are:
- Five Minute Profit Sites – Faster Profits = $197
- Five Minute Profit Sites – Double Your Profit Sites = $187
- Five Minute Profit Sites – Traffic Tsunami = $97
Along with buying into Five Minute Profit Sites, buying traffic and possibly paying for the upsells, there is also the monthly fee to join Aweber, which starts at a minimum of $19 a month.
Is Five Minute Profit Sites a Scam?
I’ve seen other reviewers labelling Five Minute Profit Sites as a scam. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it one. You do get something for your money, including some basic training, and it is possible to make some money with the methods Sam Smith proclaims.
That being said though, I think it’s going to be pretty difficult to make a real profit with what’s on offer here, as there will be quite a bit of spending involved to buy tools and drive traffic to your offers.
