What Is Survey Network?
Survey Network is yet another online paid survey platform, this time for residents of the United Kingdom only. They pay out in real money through PayPal and Moneybookers, so not just gift cards and magazine subscriptions with this one.
While Survey Network is UK based, their parent company runs sister sites in the USA, Russia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Online paid surveys are all about gathering market research from relevant sections of the community. Various businesses and companies need to gather research from their target market to improve their products and services, as well as maximise results for their future advertising spend. Paid surveys is one of the best ways to get this much-needed data.
Doing surveys is just cump change. There are far more lucrative ways of spending your valuable time online. I recommend affiliate marketing. It makes me more than a fulltime income, and most of it's passive. Check out Wealthy Affiliate for some great training that kicks off for free!
How Does It Work?
Joining is easy:
- You first register your details and earn a £1 sign up bonus
- Answer surveys
- Get paid, earning up to £10 per survey
When you join Survey Network, you will first be sent a verification link to your email. After clicking this link it will be time to set up your Survey Network profile so you can start completing surveys. You will be asked to answer a series of questions when you fill out your profile. This gives admin a better understanding of who you are, where your interests are, and how best to match you up with appropriate surveys.
There is a tab on the site where you will find available surveys. Click on it and see if a survey is ready for you to answer.
As with all surveys on all platforms, there will be qualifying questions to answer to determine if you’re the best fit for the survey. Sometimes you won’t qualify and you have spent your time answering those questions for nothing. There’s no getting around this if you want to do surveys though. All surveys have qualifying questions.
When you do pass and complete a full survey, your account will be credited with your monetary reward. This varies depending on who requested the survey and the length of the survey. Now while some surveys may pay out that promised £10, that’s likely for really long surveys that may take several hours to complete. Your average survey will take about 20 minutes and pay anywhere from 50p up to £1 for your time.
You need to accumulate £25 before you can request a payout through Moneybookers or PayPal.

Target Audience
Definitely UK residents, as it’s only open to people living in the United Kingdom, unfortunately. Paid surveys are not a bad way to get started making a little bit of money online. It will give newcomers to making money on the internet the belief that it actually is real. It's not really of value to anyone who wants to make more serious cash, though.
What I Like
- The site seems very simple and easy to navigate
- £10 is not a bad sum if you actually get paid that for any surveys
- They pay rewards in cash and not gift cards
- There is the opportunity for free products by doing product testing
What I Don’t Like
- Restricted to people in the UK only
- As usual, the rewards for completing surveys are pitiful
- It can take a while to reach a payout threshold
- Payment can take up to 14 days to process after requesting a cash out
- Surveys are not a profitable way to spend your precious time
- It’s actually quite hard passing the qualifying questions for surveys on the Survey Network site

Is Survey Network a Scam?
It’s not a scam. Some people label paid surveys a scam because they don’t pay very much. That’s a very unfair label, though. There’s no scam here. Just realise that if you do decide to join Survey Network or another survey platform, that the rewards for your time and effort are going to be quite low.
There are far better ways to spend your time online if the goal is to make REAL money and not just coins or pocket money.
There Is a Better Way To Make Money Online
I used to do a lot of paid surveys, but I found them very tedious and frustrating. It was okay for a bit of spare cash, but overall not really worth my time. After all, time is valuable and you can never get it back.
