What Is Insight Global and How Does It Work?
Insight Global is a recruitment company in the US and Canada that has been around since 2001. They provide employment solutions mostly for Fortune 500 companies, by taking care of the recruitment to fill numerous vacancies within those companies. With the head office based in Atlanta, Georgia, Insight Global has 44 regional offices spread across the United States and Canada and they claim to place close to 35,000 new employees every year.
The placements can range from short-term contracts through to fulltime employment. One of their main focuses is on placing college graduates into entry-level positions. The company has been featured on many of the major news networks in the US and has won a number of awards since its inception.

When you are contracted out to Fortune 500 companies through Insight Global, the recruitment firm take care of everything for you. As their reward they are paid service fees by the companies that need employees.

Insight Global Complaints
As I mentioned at the start of this review, there are a lot of mixed feelings out their about Insight Global, and many people have recorded complaints about the company. Some claim the administration is very rude whenever a contracted employee has an issue with anything, while others state they never get paid for the work they do.
Yet another common complaint is the work contracts, where a contract is signed, but the contents of the contract and the actual job don’t match.
As an example, a contract may state the job will last 12 months, but in reality it only runs for 2 months.
Still others complain about very long work hours, way outside the initial scope of employment. Many of these overtime hours go unrewarded, apparently.
On the flipside there are also numerous testimonials and reviews stating what a great place to work Insight Global is, and every year the company seems to win at least several industry awards.

What I Don’t Like
- There are loads of complaints about Insight Global
- Reports of constant abuse in the workplace
- Some complain of never getting paid
- Many of the jobs are menial tasks with no chance of advancement
- Long work hours
- Low pay and short contracts
- Your social life may suffer due to long and arduous hours sitting in front of a computer
How Much Does Insight Global Cost?
It doesn’t cost anything to seek employment either with Insight Global, or through them. Insight Global receive compensation from Fortune 500 companies when they make a successful placement to fill a job vacancy.
Is Insight Global a Scam?
I can’t see that there is any scam going on here, even with all the numerous complaints. Maybe the company needs to improve some of its processes and get more experienced staff to draw up the work contracts. In some cases their recruiters may be being deceptive in order to fulfil a role, not divulging the whole truth to the job seeker.
Insight Global seems okay if you are looking for some part-time contract employment or maybe a foot in the door of a large Fortune 500 company. There are other ways to make good money though, even if you are fresh out of college. An online business will give you a lot more control over your work and financial future without costing you much to get started. Read below…
