Congrats on finding your way to my review of OMG Sweeps. The very fact that you're here reading this review shows that you're smart enough to look into something before getting involved.
There are many awesome ways to make money on the internet, but unfortunately there are also loads of scams out there as well. The whole idea of my Many Income Streams website is to help people find the good stuff while also avoiding the scams and schemes that are a waste of time.
Let's now see how OMG Sweeps measures up.
What Is OMG Sweeps?
This website pretty much has nothing on it other than a big headline that says:
“What would you do with $50,000?”
Apart from that there is the Randomizer number drawing machine and an opt in form to input your email address.
This is all there is. So basically it’s just a simple website where you give them your email address, then wait for the Randomizer to draw the winning numbers and see if you’re a winner. It doesn’t even cost any money to enter.
Things like this are just shiny objects and a waste of time. You can make real money online, and one of the best and simplest ways is with an affiliate marketing business. How It Works
As mentioned above, to enter you give up your email address, agree to the terms and conditions, privacy policy, contest rules and check the box to agree to receive daily emails from OMG Sweeps. That last one is optional, so probably not a good idea to agree to receive their emails. Who knows what will happen with your email address.
Once you’re in you click the button to receive your number created by the Randomizer. Now you will be taken to a new screen and be presented with your 8 digit number, and likely not the winner. The odds of winning the main prize are 1 in 75,000,000. So pretty astronomical odds.

The obvious target audience here is anyone who would love to win some free money, which is just about everybody, I would think.
What I Like
- The lure of winning $50,000 is huge
- The site, while simple, is eye catching
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- There is really nothing much to the website, apart from the main page, a privacy policy, contest rules and terms and conditions page
- It’s hard to find any real information on this sweepstakes
- It’s not mentioned anywhere how you will receive your prize money if you are lucky enough to win
- The prize money may not even be real
- There is a distinct lack of information on this website and what it offers
- The internet is full of warnings to avoid free sweepstakes websites
How Much Does OMG Sweeps Cost?
It’s totally free to give this a go, but I wouldn't bother. Read below.
Is OMG Sweeps a Scam?
To be honest, I’m not really sure, but I’d say it is a scam. I’d sincerely doubt that there is really $50,000 in prize money up for grabs. If it was more legit, there would be more talk about it around the internet, but there’s not much at all. The site doesn’t give up much information, either.
This looks like a way to collect peoples’ email addresses, maybe to be sold to marketing companies and who knows who else. The email list could also be used to make money from solo ads, or promote affiliate products and scams to people.
If you have a go at this sweepstakes, even if you don’t check the box to agree to receive promotional emails, I’m certain once you give up your email address, you will receive loads of spam from various places anyway, as I believe that’s one of the motives behind this website.
While there doesn’t appear to be anything too risky going on with OMG Sweeps, I’d give it a miss. There likely is no prize money, so why give up your email address to some dodgy marketers?
If you dig a little deeper on the group that run this website – What If Media – you will see that they run the exact same contest on a number of different sites under different names.
It’s got to be a way to collect email addresses to sell. I can’t see that it can be anything else.
