True Cash Network Overview
It's really good that you've found your way to my review of True Cash Network, because it means you look into things before joining them, and that's always a wise course of action.
True Cash Network evolved from the now defunct ‘Text Cash Network’. Their ‘About’ page says the company has been in the works since 2006, but in reality I believe True Cash Network has only existed as an entity under that name since 2013 or 2014.
Apparently the name was changed after the former company of Text Cash Network was bombarded with a barrage of bad publicity. A bit like the way Amway has changed their name over the years for the same reasons.
This is a MLM / Network Marketing business. In fact it’s a number of network marketing businesses all packaged neatly into one.
Originally Text Cash Network was based on the discount coupon model of companies such as Groupon, Spreets and Living Social. TCN used text messages to get its deals out to the potential customer.
Nothing wrong with that, if you opt in to receive their messages just like you might opt in for emails for the same thing.
The difference with this is, you were paid if you signed up other members to receive these messages. The idea was you got paid by these companies to receive their messages, and you could make more money if you signed up other people under you (hence the MLM element) to also receive these texts. They in turn sign up others under them, therefore increasing your down line exponentially.
TCN still uses the text message model as a part of their mix, but now you actually join a program to try and promote and sell a particular company’s product. You still do the recruitment thing, getting people in your down line to also sell the same product and make extra money from them as well as your own sales.
In order to join the True Cash Network program you have to be referred first by somebody who is already a member of the program. This ensures that you actually join someone’s down line and they can then start making money off of your hard work and sales.
Once a member you get access to everything and can find a program that’s the best fit for you. From there on it’s a matter of making affiliate sales to get paid some cash, as well as actively trying to recruit new members to your program of choice.
While you might make something out of this, it's very iffy and somewhat risky. You're far better off starting a very simple and cheap online business that brings in passive income consistently. - Those who can handle lots of rejections.
Pros
- It’s free to get involved in this system.
- You can make extra money from your down line.
- You don’t need to be a guru or a tech geek to do this.
- You get a website to help promote your product and gain recruits.
Cons
- It’s a tough way to make any decent sort of cash.
- Many people are generally very wary of MLM schemes as they have a bad rap.
- You need to be able to sell the program as well as entice new recruits.
- The old Text Cash Network was labelled a scam by many who got involved, and this is run by the same people.
- Much of what you have to do and what is required is very vague. Even getting referred in the first place so you can join seems rather complicated.
- You are forced to receive 5 text messages per day so you can be spammed with offers from TCN.
- Very complicated commission and compensation plans. Hard to decipher and understand.
- No company transparency.
How Much Does It Cost?
Free to join. You make money and TCN make money from the sales both you and your down line generate.
Conclusion
This isn’t really an effective business model for anyone serious about making a solid online income. And recruiting new members to a pyramid scheme can be really tough work.
Nothing about this company – its products and their prices, their commissions or company dealings – is transparent. In this day and age everyone expects complete transparency. If someone is not willing to offer that, then they have something to hide and are deliberately making things confusing.
This is a major red flag to me!
I won’t go so far as to label TCN a total scam. I’m sure there is some money that can be made from this. I just don’t like the way they make everything so complicated and are not willing to be open about how their business really functions. They’re not even upfront about who actually owns or runs TCN. That’s really bizarre behaviour.
This company has many things they seem to wish to hide, and that’s the main reason I wouldn’t recommend joining True Cash Network.
An Open and Transparent Company
If you want to learn how you can make money online – real money – and set up a long term business model, then join a company that’s totally open and transparent about who they are and what they are offering you.

Hmmm…True Cash Network certainly does sound a little fishy. The free aspect is very tempting but would you feel comfortable making money in such a manner. I also don’t think I like the idea of other people making money off of my hard work.
I agree that it may not be a total scam, but with a lot of valuable information missing regarding the owner and how the business works I would be inclined to pass.

Thanks for sharing. This is the first time I have heard if this kind of company. What is the idea behind the texting? I’m not sure if I really understand. Does this mean that you promote products only through means of texting and you get paid to receive a text? Of course, if it’s free to try and also risk-free, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try it. Can you give some details about the free website you get with True Cash Network? That also seems attractive.

As a member of wealthy affiliate, I can say that the services offered are unlike any website builder and it is a great platform for beginners. Its easy to give up with affiliate marketing, but keeping the potential long-term payout in mind always keeps me going. Great article, Cheers!

I was a member of Text Cash Network and got burned by the SCAM, please tell me what you think about THW GLOBAL ADVERTISING they seem to use the same kind of language and practices of the former TCN company and they are constantly making excuses for not paying their IV’s ( Independent Viewers) . They say that is normal for a startup and that things will be better as time goes by but I would like to hear from an experienced reviewer. Please advise.
Hi Pat. I don’t know much about THW Global Advertising, but after some quick research it does sound very similar to TCN, and possibly even yet another reinvention of this system. As far as getting paid is concerned, just keep trying. Keep asking for your money. They’ll soon pay you just to get you to stop asking.
