~ An Inbox Dollars Review ~

Intro

My website is all about helping people find genuine ways to make money on the internet from the comfort of home. That's why I write so many reviews on make money products and training platforms. I want to help my readers make informed decisions while avoiding the scams along the way.

It's great to see you here reading my Inbox Dollars review, as it means you do some research before joining something and likely won't ever get scammed.

Let's see how Inbox Dollars rates in the good or bad stakes.

What Is Inbox Dollars and How Does it Work?

Inbox Dollars works pretty similar to the many paid survey sites out there. In fact, you can participate in surveys on their platform, among other things. The idea is that you earn money for performing a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Taking surveys
  • Playing games
  • Reading emails
  • Referring others to Inbox Dollars
  • Watching TV and videos
  • Surfing the web
  • Online shopping
  • Signing up for products and services
  • And more…

It’s essentially a rewards site, where you can earn very small amounts of money for doing everyday tasks, or tasks you generally do regularly online anyway.

When you first join up you are asked a series of questions to complete your profile. This helps Inbox Dollars understand your interests and what surveys and offers to send your way. Once you successfully complete your profile, your account will be credited with your very first $5. In order to cash out and actually receive the money you’ve earned, your account needs to reach $30 minimum.

At this point Inbox Dollars will subtract a cash out fee of $3, but this fee is waived if you wait for your account to reach $40 or more before asking for a payout.

The platform is pretty easy to understand and navigate, and if you have some spare time on your hands and don’t mind being paid small amounts of money in exchange for that time, then you might find some value in Inbox Dollars.

Apart from the low rates of pay, another downside with the paid surveys is you first have to pass a series of qualifying questions before you can take part in the actual “paid” section of the survey. Sometimes there are a lot of qualifying questions, and if you don’t pass, you’ve just wasted a bunch of time for absolutely nothing.

There really are far better ways to make money online if the goal is to earn a decent income. Click here to learn how I make more than a fulltime income on the internet and you can too.

Who Is The Target Audience?

It’s really directed at people who are not trying to establish a fulltime money making gig out of it. Could be handy for college students or retirees, who have some spare time and need to earn a little extra cash on the side. It’s not a bad way to start your journey in earning money online, but there are much better ways to do this.

The Pros

  • The tasks are simple and easy to do
  • You can earn real money, just not much
  • There is a variety of money making tasks and not just surveys

The Cons

  • The monetary trade off for your time is very low
  • It takes a while and a lot of tasks to reach a cash out level
  • You will be spending a lot of your time doing very menial tasks
  • Some surveys only pay 50 cents for half an hour’s work.
  • Too many survey qualifying questions

Tools and Training

You don’t really need any training to perform the tasks involved in earning through Inbox Dollars. All the tools you need are on the platform itself, and many of the surveys will be sent directly to your email inbox. It’s just a matter of answering the questions.

How Much Does Inbox Dollars Cost To Join?

Inbox dollars is free to join. The only cost is a $3 fee for cash out at the $30 level. If you wait for it to reach $40, then the $3 fee is waived, so it might be worth waiting a little longer and make it more worthwhile.

Is Inbox Dollars A Scam?

It’s not a scam, but also not a very productive way to spend your valuable time. Your time could be far better served doing other things to make money, rather than performing rather useless Inbox Dollars tasks to earn a couple of coins.

I realise it's a popular platform and there's truly nothing wrong with it. It just depends on what your earning goals are.

If you're happy with making a few dollars here and there, then it's fine, but if you want something more, read below for my top recommendation.
