Intro
I kept seeing mentions of getting free PayPal money online and it intrigued me. Likely you came across this scheme somewhere on social media, or heard about it from someone. At any rate, it’s an interesting concept.
It’s good to see you here reading this review, as the very reason I write reviews like this one is to help people avoid all the dodgy, make money scams floating around online. You never can be too careful these days, and researching something before getting involved is always a wise idea. That way you’ll almost always avoid the scams.
Along with exposing the obvious scams and platforms that are a complete waste of valuable time and money, I also write about the positive opportunities and training platforms I come across.

What Is PayPal Money Adder?
Apparently there are a few different schemes under various names going around that promise to add free money to your PayPal account. PayPal Money Adder is just one of them. “PayPal Money Generator” is another. Whether they’re all run by the same person or people is uncertain, as we don’t really know who’s behind these schemes. They remain anonymous.
The fact that anyone claims you can receive money that’s totally free into your PayPal account sounds like an obvious scam, but we’ll look into what it’s all about anyway.
It’s actually software that you can either download onto your device, or simply access via the web. From the software you can send up to $500 a day to your PayPal account (depending on which version of the app your come across). It’s as simple as selecting how much money you want to send yourself, input your PayPal email address, a few other details and off you go.
Sounds like a complete hoax. Doesn’t it?
I mean, what sort of magic software is this? Where does the money you send to yourself originate from?
Let’s list what this software supposedly does for easy reference:
- It conjures cash out of thin air
- You then send that magic money to your PayPal account
- The money isn’t stolen from anywhere else
- The money doesn’t come from banks or even PayPal
- It’s all totally above board and legal
FREE money that comes from nowhere is what it’s essentially all about.
I smell the rancid stench of BS in the air.

How It Works
As mentioned above, when you try to send magic money to yourself, you have to input some details first. Now what’s required will depend on the form you’re presented with; and whether you’re doing it through PayPal Money Adder or one of its clones.
Of course there is no free money available. You can fill in these forms all your like and hit that send button repeatedly, but no money will ever appear in your PayPal account. Not a single cent.
It’s all one big con.
What these people are really after is your personal details. They want to be able to collect your information in order to attempt to hack into your accounts and get YOUR money. The intention is never to send YOU money. They want to MAKE money out of you one way or another.
These people are scammers and hackers, and PayPal Money Adder only exists for their ultimate financial gain and not ours.
What Might Happen
They may end up hijacking your PayPal account and taking control of it, or stripping it bare of any funds available.
There’s also the possibility that they’ll use your information for false identification purposes. Identity theft is a major problem in the internet age. Criminals like to adopt the identity of real people, so when they carry out their criminal affairs, the trail doesn’t lead back to them, but rather to the person whose identity they stole. Not a great scenario to contemplate. And it does happen quite often these days.
If you download the software to your computer, it might contain malware or keyloggers, once again giving these people access to your sensitive data and information. Keyloggers are used to get peoples’ passwords and the like, and you certainly don’t want that.
Even the simple act of collecting your email address can be to their advantage, as they can then spam you with promotions and other free money ideas.
At the end of the day, you don’t want to risk any of the above scenarios.
Target Audience
I guess this one is aimed at anyone who would love some free money, which is basically all of us. I’m not sure who would fall for this kind of hoax and think it’s real, but whoever that group of people is, that’s who these scammers are really targeting.

- There are too many variations of this scheme and software
- I’d say all variations are run by the same people
- There is no such thing as generating free money that comes from nowhere out of thin air
- Where does the money come from?
- This is a scam, or a hoax (a bit of a joke) at best
- You risk compromising your details
- You could download malware onto your computer
- Your PayPal account or bank account might get hacked
- Identity theft is a real risk with stuff like this
- Details of how this thing actually works are sketchy at best
- PayPal recommends staying clear of applications that say they can add money to your account, as they don’t exist
How Much Does PayPal Money Adder Cost?
There’s no charge to use the PayPal Money Adder in its various forms, whether you access the app online, or download the software to your computer (highly NOT recommended by me to download anything).
The reason it’s free is they want as many people as possible to adopt it and use it. They want your information, so the quickest and easiest way to get that is to offer you something for free that generates free cash.
Is PayPal Money Adder a Scam?
This is definitely a scam!
Look, best case scenario is this thing is simply a joke, a hoax, designed for a bit of a laugh. However, I believe there is far more malicious intent behind this scam. Most likely the goal is identity theft, as some of the applications have you complete surveys, where they collect quite a bit of your personal data and information. Armed with your identity, these scammers can then perform all sorts of criminal activity in your name.
Secondary to that is the distinct possibility they want to try and hack into peoples’ PayPal accounts. You definitely don’t want that either.
All in all there’s nothing to be gained by accessing or downloading this bogus software, even if it’s nothing more than a harmless joke.
Just stay well clear of anything that promises free money, conjured out of thin air.

Not all things on the internet are dodgy or a waste of time. Far from it. Never before have there been so many great opportunities. It’s all a matter of avoiding the scams while searching for the good stuff. Reading reviews is always a great way to help you stay on the right path.
