~ World Ventures Review ~
Introduction
Who doesn’t like the thought of being able to travel the world on a whim and visit all the exotic destinations you’ve ever dreamed about? Add to that the capacity to be able to make money along the way, from what you love, and it sounds like the ultimate lifestyle.
Is this really possible with World Ventures? Or is it just a fantasy.

What Is World Ventures All About?
The company was founded back in 2005 by two traveling entrepreneurs – Mike Azcue and Wayne Nugent. They hail from Texas and have a dream and a vision of enabling people to be able to travel to all the destinations on their bucket list, whilst at the same time being able to introduce others to the travel scheme and earn themselves an income.
There are essentially 2 parts to World Ventures:
- Purchasing travel packages
- Becoming a representative of World Ventures
Either way, it’s all about world travel and if that’s what you’re into, then you might be interested in taking things further.
You might make money with this, but it likely won't be as easy as it sounds. I prefer affiliate marketing. Click here if you want to copy how I make money online.
How It Works
Members pay a membership fee to be eligible for travel discounts on various packages and tours. Dream Trips Life is the travel side of things, and within it there are several levels of membership. If you go for the Gold Membership you will be entitled to more discounts than with the basic membership.
Essentially World Ventures utilise the power of bulk buying to obtain special rates with hotels, tours and various entertainment deals at the proposed travel destinations. For example, they might book a certain hotel for 100 guests, enabling them to negotiate a bulk discount. They then pass the savings onto the members.
The travel packages don’t generally include any airfares, although there is sometimes a group discount for airfares available. With people travelling to the destination from all parts of the globe, this can be much harder to negotiate.
When you book in for travel deals with World Ventures, you will be travelling and spending your holidays with other World Ventures members. People get to know one another and it becomes like a travelling family. Some people may like this idea, while for others it might not appeal.
How Does the World Ventures Business Opportunity Work?
To move on to the business side of things, members need to sign up for the World Ventures “Representative Business System”. So you first need to pay a joining fee as a travel member of World Ventures, then additional fees to be eligible to sell the business and make commissions.
They actually ask you to recruit 4 new members within the first 30 days of you signing up to become a representative. That can be a pretty big ask for someone who is just getting started and still learning the ropes.
Part of the compensation includes earning commissions on direct selling of travel packages, plus bonuses for recruiting new members into the business side of things.
Some other advantages or ways to earn as a rep include:
- Dream Car Bonus
- Dream Home Bonus
- Lifestyle Bonus Program
- Discount training events
- Weekly bonuses
- Residual commissions
In order to remain eligible for commissions and bonuses, business reps are required to pay a monthly fee to be considered “active”.

Why It Likely Won’t Work Out That Well
Well, not everyone has the money or the time to do a lot of travelling and make this deal worthwhile. So, in that regard, it might be a rather hard sell; for travel deals and to recruit new members.
According to an official income disclosure statement from World Ventures in 2015, they reported that some 77% of its members didn’t make a cent during the 2015 year period. That left only around 23% having made some money at an average of $1348 per person for 12 full months.
Hardly a fulltime income by any means.
Maybe consider it for a part-time gig and get some good travel deals in the process, but I think making this a fulltime job would be close to impossible based on those revelations.
Who Is The Target Audience?
Obviously those that love to travel first and foremost. This isn’t just designed for travellers who are also looking for a business opportunity. You can be involved independent of the business side, but the opportunity is available should you wish to try your hand at selling travel deals and memberships for a part-time or even possibly fulltime income.
The Pros
- It’s an opportunity with a difference
- Who doesn’t love travelling to exotic locations
- You can make money from something you love doing
- Meet new people and discover new places
- Some really good deals on travel
The Cons
- It’s quite pricey to be a member and also pay that monthly fee
- From a business perspective, you likely won’t make much money
- You are kind of forced to travel with other members to a degree
- The compensation plan is really confusing
Tools and Training
As a representative you receive a website, access to training, and business materials. This is all a part of your monthly fee.
How Much Does World Ventures Cost?
It costs $360 to join as a “traveller”, then $60 a month to remain an active business representative. Obviously on top of that you might pay out for special training events and, of course, travel deals for your own leisure pleasure.
Is World Ventures a Scam or Legit?
It’s not a scam and I couldn’t find any real evidence of it being a pyramid scheme either. When you view their compensation plan, it is a multi level marketing setup, but a little different from some others I’ve seen. I honestly really couldn’t work it out myself, but if you’re interested, here’s a link to the compensation plan PDF.
As I said earlier, if you love to travel and want to see if you can make some money as well, then just treat this business as a part-time hobby.
If you want to get involved in an online business that’s more simplistic in its compensation element, and one that can lead to a fulltime income and way beyond, continue reading below.
Make Real Money Online
Why not do what I do if you love having the time and money freedom to travel? I make my living almost entirely online, and one of the major contributors to my income is through affiliate marketing. It’s easy to do. Anyone can set up an online affiliate marketing business if they are first shown the right way to go about it.
This kind of business allows you to take your business with you when you travel. You are not tied to any one spot, so you can travel and work from wherever you fancy. The best part is, much of the money you earn becomes residual and passive over time.
It takes some time and effort to get going, but things start to snowball after a while. People all over the globe are making great incomes from affiliate marketing.
