What Is My Home Job Search and How Does It Work?

My Home Job Search is advertised as a place to find work. It’s even claimed that the jobs advertised pay between $14 and $56 per hour if you happen to land one.

Once you join this job search platform as a free member you can browse what’s on offer. However, before you can actually start to apply for any “jobs”, you must pay to become a premium member.

To be honest, I’ve been a part of loads of online job boards over the years for regular employment and freelancing, and I’ve never come across a site that makes the jobseekers pay, so to me that’s very suspect in itself and seems a little scammy.

What this website claims it does is connect jobseekers with genuine work at home job opportunities, rather than with places of employment. These are jobs where you get to work remotely.

My Home Job Search Is a Scam

That may be fine if the jobs are real, but the majority of what’s advertised on the website are known work at home scams. Actually the only real purpose of this website is to get people to buy into scams and bogus money making systems, where the owner of the site has linked to all of these with affiliate links.

You buy the product, thinking you’re buying yourself a work at home job, while all you’re doing is buying into something that likely won’t make you any money and Michael Anderson (if it’s his real name) earns commissions as an affiliate of these platforms he’s promoting.

Affiliate marketing is fine, but this is a very deceptive and underhanded way to go about it. He’s claiming there are real jobs advertised on his website, whether you remain a free member or pay for an upgrade, yet none of what’s advertised are real jobs in any sense of the word.

It’s all fake. He even uses the fake news channel endorsement routine which so many of the scam sites employ to give themselves  the illusion of being credible. The website is also plastered with fake testimonials, where they are using images taken from Shutterstock to make it appear as if a real person wrote the review.

There are a few legit opportunities on the site as well, such as joining paid survey sites, but they are not jobs. And doing online surveys literally pays peanuts and is not worth your valuable time.

Some other things advertised are freelancing sites and the like. All this information you can find for yourself without the need to go through this website and pay for a premium membership to access a lot of these free opportunities.

Target Audience

The target market seems to be job seekers first, then people looking for work at home opportunities where you get paid by the hour by an employer while you work remotely. The platform doesn’t deliver on either count. There are no real jobs, and no one paying anyone by the hour; and certainly not to the tune of $56 per hour.

Tools and Training

There is not real training of any sorts. The website is really just acting as an affiliate portal, where the owner lists various freely-accessible things like survey, social media posting gigs, rewards websites and the like. There are also paid opportunities and most of those look to be scams.

The Pros

  • I guess it kind of brings a lot of things together in the one place to look for something

The Cons

  • Deceptive marketing tactics
  • The jobs really aren’t jobs
  • Many of the make money opportunities are known scams
  • The owner makes commissions off everything you buy into
  • The owner also makes $29 per head for everyone who goes premium
  • Fake testimonials and news endorsements

How Much Does My Home Job Search Cost?

It’s free to join initially, but for that you only get to search for opportunities like surveys and the like which are free anyway. When you pay your $29, then you gain access to opportunities that actually cost you money to try out, so you spend even more, and many of those opportunities are really dodgy.

Is My Home Job Search a Scam?

In my opinion the site is a scam because it’s a deception, uses false advertising, fake news promotions and fake testimonials. The site is also riddled with ads for dodgy scams and the owner is making money on everything along the way when most of the members will simply be out of pocket.

The main issue I have with this is the fact it’s advertised as a place to find an actual job where you can work at home and get paid by the hour. There are no real jobs on My Home Job Search.

Try Affiliate Marketing – It Really Works!

There is nothing at all wrong with affiliate marketing when done in an ethical manner. I’ve been making a living from it for a few years now and my income is on the increase all the time. Why? Because it works and it’s a very easy business model to follow if you’re shown how.

Here are just a few of the benefits attached to affiliate marketing:

  • You get to be your own boss
  • Work whenever you like
  • Travel
  • Take time off
  • Work from home
  • Work from anywhere with internet
  • Make great money
  • Have no limits on how much you can earn
  • Learn new life skills
  • Spend more time with loved ones
  • Make passive income streams
  • And so much more…

However, as easy as this business model is and the many benefits that go along with it, success happens by design and not by accident. Therefore, take a shortcut to success and follow in the footsteps of people who have already proven which methods work best. Take the training I did because I know it works. It’s worked for me.

  1. Yes, well the moment I read that you have to pay to join My Home Job Search, alarm bells started ringing.

Obviously my suspicions were confirmed when I read the line, “The platform doesn’t deliver on either count. There are no real jobs, and no one paying anyone by the hour.”

It makes me so angry when I come across sites like this, since it’s taking advantage of people’s vulnerability when they desperately need to make some money, perhaps to buy their next meal or pay the rent.

How does someone like Michael Anderson sleep at night, knowing that he is scamming real people in this way?

I’ve heard that affiliate marketing is a reliable way to make money online but there seem to be so many people doing it so I’m just wondering whether there’s really enough space left for anymore people to get involved?

    Thanks,
    ~Mark

    • Hi Mark. These scammers have a whole bunch of websites out there all promoting the same scam. I don’t think they have any trouble sleeping at night, because they don’t have a conscience.

Affiliate marketing is a great busienss to get involved in online. Costs virtually nothing and you can do it in your spare time from home. It’s perfect for anyone looking to make some extra cash, or turn it into a fulltime gig. Well worth considering, unlike Home Job Search.
