Are there really any quick ways make money online?
As yet, after years of searching, I haven’t found any. Everything takes time. Even if you can do something right now – today – to make money online, chances are you won’t see that money for a while.
In this post I’ll list a few simple ideas that will get that cash in your hand the quickest, but bear in mind that there is no fast road to riches on the internet.
Even people who appear to be an overnight success spent years working for very little during the set up phase of their now successful online business. And the get rich quick schemes you see advertised all over the net are nothing more than a ruse to part you of your cash so the creator of the scam can “get rich quick”. But even setting up these scams takes a lot of time and hard work to get ready for launch and to make people aware of it.
The bottom line: There is no quick road to wealth (or even pocket money) on the internet, plain and simple.
Sell Your Services
If you have a skill you can offer on a freelance site such as eLance or Fiverr, then this can be one of the quickest ways to get paid doing something online. If you can land a gig and finish the work quickly to the satisfaction of the advertiser, then you will probably get paid within a week or so.
Services could include some of the following:
- Graphic Design
- Photography
- Writing
- Web Design
- Programming
- Coaching
- Financial Planning
These are just a select few. Do your research and think about what you personally could offer online and get to it.
Online Surveys
There are plenty of legit online survey companies out there and you can get surveys to complete sent directly to your inbox every day. However, these companies pay peanuts for the amount of time you spend completing surveys and you have to reach a certain threshold of points before you can cash out. Some companies can even take up to several months to send the payment to your PayPal account even after you have cashed out your points. Still, it’s an easy gig and one I’ve been doing for years now.
Sell Stuff On eBay
This is actually one of the quickest ways to get cash in your hand by doing something online. Selling on eBay is very easy to do (if you haven’t done it before), and the money for the sale goes into your PayPal account the moment the buyer makes payment for the item you are selling. If you have loads of stuff lying about the house that you no longer want or use, then try listing it on eBay. You’ll be surprised what people will buy online.

Most ideas take time before you see any real money though, so just keep that in mind. Unless you buy lottery tickets online, there really are no ways to get rich quick on the internet.
