What Is Life Force International?
This health and wellness company was started way back in 1984 by husband and wife team, Wayne and Gerri Hillman, in their San Diego garage. Originally restricted to the USA for products and the business opportunity, the company has since expanded into Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore.
Life Force International is yet another player in the mega saturated health and wellness niche and they choose to sell and distribute their products via the multi level marketing (MLM) method. It is a very successful MLM company and one of the longest players in this competitive niche.

As this review is primarily focused on the possibility of making money with the business opportunity, I won’t get right into their vast range of products here. You can always visit their website to peruse them all. Here I’ll simply list the categories available:

The company is most famous for its original flagship product – Body Balance. It’s a nutritional drink that is vitamin and nutrient rich and is designed to be taken daily. The blend of 9 wild sea vegetables is what makes this drink truly unique.
As with all MLM products, due to the structure of compensation, prices are expensive. As an example a 4 pack of OsteoProCare costs $155.00!
The products do seem to be well received, just very expensive.
The MLM Business Opportunity
Health and wellness companies especially seem to love peddling their products via the MLM distribution method. These days the world seems to be overrun with multi level marketing companies of all types.
Do you know why this method of marketing is so popular?
Because all the advantages go to the company and virtually every advantage is stripped away from the masses working for it.
Think about it. People only get paid once they achieve results, which means a company like Life Force has a massive free workforce out there doing all the selling, buying, promoting and expansion of the business. All because they’ve been sold the dream of an opulent lifestyle that is reserved only for a select few individuals at the top of the MLM pyramid.
People are told they will own their own business when they get involved in MLM, but that’s not really true. The company owns the business and controls everything. You really only work as an unpaid sales rep when you become a distributor, and most MLM sales are made to its workforce and not retail customers. So, the bigger the workforce, the bigger the client base to sell to.

There never really is much money to be made going the direct sales route, not unless you set up some sort of online storefront or something. With MLM the real earning potential comes with the recruiting of multitudes of new people into the business and building your downlines.

Is Life Force International An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
Virtually all MLM companies base their compensation on a pyramid structure, but does that make them all illegal pyramid schemes?
No, it doesn’t.
The illegal version is a naked pyramid scheme, where there aren’t any real products. Life Force International has loads of real products, so it cannot be a naked pyramid scheme.
Target Audience
MLM targets people who are looking for an opportunity to make money with something that already has a name and is established. It also helps if you really like the products as well.
What I Like
- The company has been around since 1984
- They have a very big product range
- The products have been well liked and positively reviewed over the years
- Their compensation plan is much more simple than other MLM companies
What I Don’t Like
- The prices are far too expensive
- The health and wellness niche is the most super competitive market there is in MLM
- You will need to be an expert recruiter to have a chance of making money
- Because this company has been around for so long it’s going to be next to impossible to join now and be able to advance up the ranks
- You don’t own your own business
- The distributors become the customers
- Most people fail to make money with any MLM venture
How Much Does Life Force International Cost?
Normally you will have to pay a joining fee or purchase a starter kit when you get involved in a MLM opportunity like Life Force. However, without joining up myself I can’t seem to find any information on pricing or requirements to join this one. I’m sure some sort of product purchase will be required at the very least.
Is Life Force International a Scam?
I rarely rate a MLM venture a scam, because they are real businesses with real products and some people do make money. I just believe they are set up in a way that rorts the main workforce, and that’s what I don’t like about these types of businesses. That and the fact that they really rip people off on price.

Forget MLM – Make REAL Money With Affiliate Marketing
I’ve done both multi level marketing and affiliate marketing. These days I don’t even bother with MLM and focus my attention and energy of affiliate marketing as it’s simpler and far more lucrative.
While it’s possible to make some money with MLM, it really relies all on your ability to recruit, and that’s what most people struggle with. Plus, you tend to have to spend lots of money on products.
It’s totally different with affiliate marketing. There’s no recruiting required, and you don’t buy and sell any products. You just promote existing products and earn commissions when sales are made.
