What Is Vemma Nutrition?
This is a MLM-based business opportunity combined with a company that sells nutritional products. Vemma is actually a collection of companies all working together known as New Vision. It’s based out of Arizona, USA and first started back in 2004.
The company has had its share of critics, complaints and legal battles over the years and I’ll cover that a bit more further on.

Vemma Products
Vemma products started out with a nutritional drink full of antioxidants designed to greatly enhance the immune system. Since then they have added others to the list.
Here’s a brief rundown of the Vemma product line:
Vemma – The original antioxidant nutritional drink, packed full of vitamins and minerals, aloe vera and green tea extract.
Vemma Vitamins – These come in two forms. One is a drink while the other is capsules.
Verve Energy Drink – Designed for those with busy lifestyles or active exercise regimes, this energy drink is like having a Red Bull.
Verve Bold – This is another energy drink loaded up with fairly high levels of caffeine.
Verve Zero Sugar – As the name suggests, this energy drink is loaded with vitamins and caffeine, but contains zero sugar.
Vemma Burn – This is a nutritional shake designed to help you burn more calories and lose body fat.
Vemma Shake – This is a nutrient dense meal in a drink that is packed with protein for muscle building.
How To Earn With the Vemma Nutrition Compensation Plan
As an affiliate of Vemma, members can sell the Vemma range of nutritional products and earn 50% commissions. Pretty generous on that score. Likewise, you can simply save 50% on products for yourself. You also get given a free website as part of the deal when you join the business opportunity.
The business side of things at Vemma also has a MLM component, where there is a big push to recruit other members and build an active downline. Therefore, you can earn commissions and bonuses from the efforts of your recruits.

Target Audience
Some people love MLM business opportunities, and for others it’s a social kind of way to do some business. Others join just to get discounts off a product that is already way over-priced. MLM appeals to people who want to start some sort of business without having to start everything from scratch.
What I Like
- Nutritional products are super popular for many reasons. We live in a very health-conscious, fitness age
- The company has been around for quite a while now
- The commissions are high for affiliates
What I Don’t Like
- The products are way too expensive for what they are, but this is always the case with MLM as commissions and bonuses have to be paid down the line
- The company has suffered many complaints and legal battles over the years
- It’s extremely hard to make money from network marketing
- You have to recruit like crazy to really make money from the MLM side of things
Vemma Complaints and Legal Issues
While some of the complaints have been aimed at the products themselves, others are directed at the business opportunity attached to Vemma.
Company founder Benson K. Boreyko came to the attention of the FTC when he made claims that some of his products cured ADD and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
Vemma has also been in hot water over some other health claims and benefits it has associated with its line of nutrition and fitness products.
I’ve also read that the courts decided Vemma was classified as a pyramid scheme and it has since been shut down. Tina.org was very active in the push to get Vemma shut down based on its business practices when it started actively pursuing the company as of 2013. Italy, Switzerland and Austria have also labelled Vemma a pyramid system.
So is Vemma shut down or not?
If you visit their official website everything seems to be business as usual, including the business opportunity itself. The company still sells its products and still operates on the MLM platform.
How Much Does the Vemma Business Opportunity Cost?
It’s actually very expensive to get started as an affiliate or business associate of Vemma, as the package you need to purchase to get started costs $499.95. That’s for a Silver Membership. Gold will set you back $999.95. Those prices are pretty damn high.
Is Vemma Nutrition Company a Scam?
Many people label everything MLM a scam. I don’t believe Vemma is a scam any more than all the other countless multi level marketing platforms out there. I’m not a fan of MLM, not because I think the business is dodgy so much, but it’s just extremely hard work making money this way. Much of your income depends on recruitment, and that’s a constant battle. Also, because of the compensation structure attached to MLM, the prices of the products are always a rip off.
Most people in MLM businesses either don’t make any profit at all, or they might average around $500 a year if they’re lucky. That barely covers the cost of Vemma membership.
Do I recommend Vemma as a viable business opportunity (provided they are still operating)?
No, I don’t.
Make REAL Money Online Like I Do!
I prefer affiliate marketing over multi level marketing, although the 50% commissions available at Vemma are quite appealing.
Affiliate marketing is a no brainer business in so many ways. Anyone can do it and do well out of it if they are shown the right way to go about it.
