AK Elite – Is It The Real Deal?

FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmailFacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmail

AK Elite is a software program released by Brad Callen. Brad is a nice enough guy and I’ve been on his mailing list for quite a long time now. He claims AK Elite will help authors and anyone who wants to cash in on the eBook craze, make $1000s of dollars per month selling books on Amazon Kindle. But does AK Elite live up to the sales hype?

~ AK Elite Review ~

What Is “AK Elite”?

Brad Callen first released a version of this program back in 2012, I think. In those days eBooks were a burgeoning business. I know this firsthand because I was in the thick of it. Wind the clock forward to 2016 and time has changed the game dramatically. Anyone and everyone is an author now. Freelance sites are cram-packed full of people outsourcing writing work so they can sell on Amazon. It’s cutthroat.

AK Elite is a software program devised to help your book have a better chance of rising above this vast competition in Amazon searches. The program comes up with long tail keyword phrases with less competition, so you can use these keywords in both your book blurb and in the keyword section of the upload process. The theory is that with less competition, when a searcher inputs one of your chosen keyword phrases (and you can only have a maximum on 7 for Amazon) you will be at the top of the list or near enough, so people click on your book link and hopefully go on to make a purchase. The software also monitors how your keywords are performing virtually in real time.

That’s what AK Elite does in a nutshell. It’s a good idea and it probably helps to some degree, but there is no way Brad can guarantee those sales figures he quotes in his video and on the AK Elite sales page. There are just far too many variables for any kind of sales and monetary guarantee.

Who Is The Target Audience?

The main target audience would be authors looking for better positioning in the Amazon Kindle search results, which will hopefully result in more eBook sales. AK Elite is also targeted at anyone wanting to find profitable ways to make money online, and maybe try their hand at writing, publishing and selling eBooks. Or outsourcing the writing.

The Pros

  • It’s a good idea in theory
  • Gives your book(s) more chance of being seen in Kindle search results
  • Software monitors how your keywords are ranking and performing

The Cons

  • The software is rather pricey
  • There is no guarantee that you will make any book sales
  • Profit per book sale is too low (not the fault of AK Elite)

Tools, Training and Support

You get the AK Elite money generating, keyword generating whiz of a tool as well as the Kindle Guru Package as a fast action bonus. This package consists of training and tips from some successful Kindle sellers, like:

  • What are the best niches for sales
  • Blueprints for better sales
  • Kindle formatting templates
  • Untapped traffic methods

These bonuses are all well and good, but if AK Elite can really do its job, then you won’t need half the bonuses. And there really is no rush. I’m sure the bonuses are available no matter how long it takes you to decide to purchase AK Elite.

How Much Does “AK Elite” Cost?

You can purchase AK Elite for a one time payment of $147, or you can get it today for just $49 and pay two more monthly payments of $49 (for a total of $147). The software also comes with a 60 day money back guarantee.

Is “AK Elite” A Scam?

It’s not a scam and it’s actually not a bad program. I like the concept behind it. Just remember though, that there are no guarantees that using AK Elite will lead to increased book sales. It could, but it may not. While it’s wise to gain every possible advantage that you can in the highly competitive eBook market, just don’t believe all the hype.

I’ve been selling eBooks on Kindle for 6 years. I’ve had success in the early days, but these days there are more than one million books listed for free on Amazon, as well as all those in Kindle Select that get put up for promotional free days. Also, the majority of self published books with a price have a list price of $2.99 or less. It’s very hard to just go on in there and make truck loads of cash like Brad claims with so many cheap and free books out there. It can be done, but it's far from easy.

UPDATE: Brad Callen has since retired AK Elite and the platform is no longer available.

Another Way To Make Money Online That Includes A Great Free Keyword Tool

You can become a member of Wealthy Affiliate for free and even partake in some free training which teaches you how to make money online. So, if you’re not just a dedicated author hoping to increase your book sales, but are more of an author/entrepreneur, then Wealthy Affiliate might be something you should seriously consider.

The WA platform also comes with a FREE keyword research tool. Keep this in mind. When people are searching on Google for information or a particular product, they will often input the exact same search date they would put into the Amazon search tool. Therefore, you don’t necessarily need a dedicated Amazon keyword search tool to get accurate and useful results when it comes to keyword research to boost book visibility and sales. You can use the free keyword tool on Wealthy Affiliate and retrieve very similar data to use for your Kindle books, as well as doing some training to discover additional ways to make money on the internet.

  1. I’m pretty sure that Brad Callan is the owner of iWriter as well – a great place to get website content for extremely good prices!
He’s been around for years now and is known for being straight down the middle with all the things he tries out – decent products and never a scam. This opportunity sounds pretty original and interesting

    • Yeah, Brad has always seemed like a pretty decent guy. I’ve been on one of his mailing lists for years now. I don’t know if AK Elite will turn eBooks into guaranteed best sellers, but it is an intriguing idea, as all of Brad’s products are.

  2. well Ive owned AK Elite for some time and its just stopped working – will not show any of the competition in Amazon – function 2 is not working
the support team can’t be bothered to respond which is really annoying

    • Hi Toby. That’s a shame that support is not getting back to you and that it seems to have stopped working. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and gets sorted soon. Up to this point, what has AK Elite been like for you? Has it been helping you get sales?
