Best Dedicated Hosting Company - Bluehost

If you are looking for dedicated hosting for your website, or are at least considering the possibility, then you’ve probably been wondering just what are the best dedicated hosting companies out of the many offering dedicated hosting. Well here's one – Personally I like Bluehost. Some will agree with me, others won’t, while some won’t know one way or the other.

In this post I’ll run you through a few details of the dedicated hosting service offered on Bluehost, then you can go on over to their site and check it out for yourself, to see if it’s the hosting you’ve been looking for.

What Bluehost Dedicated Hosting Offers

Dedicated hosting on Bluehost means you get to host your website (or multiple sites) on your very own server. This is exactly what you would expect with a dedicated hosting plan. The whole idea is to get your website off shared servers and onto a server dedicated to you alone.

Obviously it costs more to host on your own servers, but you get what you pay for, and in the case of hosting on Bluehost, you receive the following benefits:

  • 4 x 2.5GHz CPU
  • 1TB Mirrored Storage
  • Free Domain Name
  • 5TB, 10TB or 15TB of Bandwidth
  • 4GB, 8GB or 16GB RAM
  • 3,4 or 5 IP Addresses
  • Money Back Guarantee
  • 24/7 Support

The above list is just what’s included in the 3 packages Bluehost offer for dedicated hosting.

Hosting on dedicated servers means supreme website performance, amazing stability, blinding fast page loading speeds and increased security. It’s hard to comprehend the overall increase in performance until you actually try dedicated hosting for yourself.

Some other benefits of hosting on Bluehost’s dedicated servers, depending on the package you choose, include:

  • Instant Provisioning
  • RAID Storage
  • Root Access
  • Storage Upgrades
  • Unmanaged
  • Improved cPanel
  • Multi-Server Management
  • Access Control
  • Advanced Capabilities
  • Additional Resources
  • SSL Certificates
  • Domain Privacy
  • Sitelock
  • Spam Protection

So What’s It Cost To Go Dedicated With Bluehost?

It’s definitely a step up in price from generic shared hosting, VPS hosting and managed WordPress hosting, but well worth it. Bluehost don’t offer the absolute cheapest prices on the internet for dedicated hosting, but they certainly aren’t the most expensive, either. Not by a long shot.

You get a lot for your money when hosting on Bluehost’s dedicated servers, and you can view the prices and stats of their 3 hosting packages in the screenshot below.

  1. I can see the advantage of using Blue Host as a dedicated server when you need the speed and resources to back the size of your site and traffic that comes your way.

At what point do you think it is worth paying the extra for what Blue Host offers for a company to have their site on a dedicated platform and can you transfer a WordPress site over to them?

    • If you have a site that’s seeing a lot of traffic, or one with loads of content and a database of users, such as a membership site, then dedicated hosting Is the best option. Dedicated hosting means you are on your own server rather than sharing servers with other websites. Your site will be much faster and more secure as well. You really need to have a site that generates good money to justify the cost of dedicated hosting.

  2. Thanks for the quick reply and answer to have a better understanding of the difference and when to use the service.
