What Is GPTPlanet and How Does It Work?

GPTPlanet has been around for about 8 years now and is essentially a traffic exchange site where you can advertise, or earn tiny amounts of money clicking on ads and watching ads. It’s a bit like a rewards site, but the main focus is ad clicking. However, there are a number of ways you can earn pennies on this website.

  • Clicking on and watching ads
  • Playing games
  • Refer others to GPTPlanet

On their website they claim they’ve paid out over $826,000 so far, but when you look at the number of total members, those sums are not impressive at all. At the time of this writing there are over 454,000 members active on GPTPlanet. If you divide the number of members into the total money paid out, that comes to less than $2 per member.

Hardly sounds worth the bother to me.

In fact, on the website’s homepage they state you can earn UP TO 1 cent per ad click. Wow! So meaning most clicks are actually worth less than a cent a click.

What are the chances of making any real money with this gig?

Not much by the sounds of it. Luckily you only have to reach $1 to get a payout. You can request a payout via Payza and PayPal.

Apparently the average earnings per month for people who are quite busy on the site is only about $7.

Why the hell would anyone even bother at those rates? What a total waste of precious time.

Paying For Advertising

GPTPlanet is also a site where you can spend money purchasing ad packs. Obviously the purchasing of ads costs a lot more per click than the earning side of things, as that’s how the site makes its money. I don’t really see how there could be any value of advertising on here, though, when the only people viewing your ads are people who are not even interested in what you’ve got to sell. They are only clicking on ads to earn themselves some money.

In my opinion paying money for advertising on GPTPlanet is also a monumental waste of both time and money. You are far better off paying for Facebook advertising than wasting your budget on this worthless platform.

Advertising can cost anywhere from 50 cents right up to 100s of dollars.

Signing Up For Free Offers

What GPTPlanet really want people to do is sign up for free offers. When this happens you generally have to hand over your credit card details. When the free trial is over, you will automatically be billed for whatever offer you signed on for. You sign up and GPTPlanet earns some juicy affiliate commissions.

Of course, you can cancel the offers before they start billing you, but first you have to remember to do that.

GPTPlanet pay you a small reward, around 5 cents up to 50 cents, to sign up with offers, but they stand to make way more than that in commissions.

The Referral Program

When you refer others to the platform you can make some residual commissions. GPTPlanet pay you 10% on any earnings your referrals make. Okay, so they probably won’t make a lot, but if you refer hundreds of people to the platform, then maybe the commissions could start to get more interesting. Not majorly interesting, mind you, but possibly useful amounts above $50 a month or so.

But then again, how much time and effort would you have to put in to recruit that many people? There are much better ways of earning money online than this platform.

Target Audience

I think this targets people who are new to making money online and don’t realise that there are far more profitable ways to earn some coin than GPTPlanet. Even doing paid surveys pays a hell of a lot more than this platform, and that’s really saying something, because surveys don’t pay much at all.

What I Like

  • Honestly, I can’t really think of anything I like about the site, except maybe that it’s free to join

What I Don’t Like

  • The rewards for clicking on ads is absolutely pitiful
  • The cost of advertising is actually quite expensive
  • Buying advertising on GPTPlanet would be a complete waste of time and money
  • This sounds like a lot of time spent for virtually nothing in return
  • You only earn up to 1 cent per ad click
  • Useless platform for generating traffic that’s relevant

How Much Does GPTPlanet Cost?

Luckily it’s fee to join GPTPlanet, as you wouldn’t want to have to pay any sort of membership fee for this. I’m not impressed with it at all.

Is GPTPlanet a Scam?

I wouldn’t go out of my way to call it a scam, but it really is a very, very ordinary opportunity to make money online. Seriously, what they are willing to pay is an absolute joke. Especially when you compare the payments to what they charge people to advertise on their website. Talk about rorting the hell out of people just to get traffic to the platform to justify charging people for ads.

Honestly, I’m blown away that they have nearly half a million members. Why would anyone waste their time spending hours a day to make around $7 a month.

Don’t waste your time on this platform. It’s not a scam, but GPTPlanet is pretty much an all round worthless opportunity.

Want To Make Real Money Online?

I run an online affiliate marketing business and it makes me over 5 figures every month. If you are serious about making money on the internet, then there are far more serious and profitable ways of doing it than the website we just reviewed.

Anyone can do what I do if you are shown how. I only know what I’m doing because of the awesome training I did, which is actually free to try out.
