~ H9 Water Reviews ~
What Is H9 Water?
H9 Water is a health and wellness venture operating with the network marketing (MLM) business method. This designer water company was launched in 2013 by Keith Hall and Steven Morse. They have their business headquarters located in Texas, which seems to be a common geographical location for many MLM businesses, along with Utah.
There is not a lot else to be said about the company, except it’s actually run by a sporting goods company called Earth Products, Inc.
You can make some money with network marketing, but statistics show that it's really hard and most people fail.
A better option is affiliate marketing. There's no direct selling or recruiting, and it's quite easy when you follow the awesome training at Wealthy Affiliate. Get started for FREE!
The Products
Essentially it’s all about healthy drinking water, which they refer to as “hydrogen-rich structured water”. Being H2O, I would have assumed all water was hydrogen-rich, being two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.
But this water is not just hydrogen-rich. Let’s not forget that. It’s also structured water.
What does that mean exactly?
Well, it’s a water that is naturally found in the human cells. It can originate from springs and glacial melt water. This water is then bottled and sold to the public via the H9 MLM distribution method. The “9” comes from the 9 phases H9 put the water through to filter out chemicals and other nasties, as well as adding nutrients.
H9 Water claim their designer water can help with:
- Flushing waste and toxins
- Improved body hydration
- Longer lasting alertness
- Beautification of skin and hair
- Increased energy levels
It’s advised to drink a bottle of H9 every day and one month’s supply costs $129.95 for 32 bottles. So about $4 a bottle. Not cheap by any means, but you expect that both with designer waters and MLM businesses.
The MLM Business Opportunity
I’m not in love with the MLM business model, and for good reason. It’s designed to strip away nearly every advantage for the workers (distributors) while giving all the benefits to the company running the show. That’s why so many businesses adopt the MLM format. It suits them perfectly.
Let’s take a closer look.
Apart from some staff members, nobody is on the payroll. Everyone’s working for commissions and bonuses like sales reps, except there’s no retainer. Nobody’s getting paid until certain criteria has been met.
The distributors usually buy most of the products (not independent customers) and they do all the selling. The distributors also do all the promoting and create business growth by being forced to recruit like crazy to have a chance of rising up the ranks and earning half decent money.
When MLM companies try to hook people in, they sell the lavish lifestyle, as well as time and money freedom, but in reality only a few at the very top enjoy this type of existence.
The majority are slaving away diligently for the company, hoping to be thrown a few scraps from those above them. They fail to illustrate just how much work and time you will have to put into recruiting to get anywhere.
This is an awesome deal for the company, but a really bad one for those just starting out.
Let me introduce you to a far better way of making money. Click here to learn more…
The H9 Water Compensation Plan
The company adopts a unilevel compensation model which is actually the fairest way of doing it. This means you can create downlines as wide as you like and, in this case, up to 10 levels deep.
The two main ways to make money here are:
- Selling water at a retail level
- Recruiting others and earning from their sales
All MLM requires you to recruit hard to put yourself into a position to make a decent income, as this rarely happens just from straight sales of the product. You need to advance up the ranks, and that can only happen with active recruiting.
You can earn various bonuses as you go along, including things like a rank advancement bonus as well as fast start bonuses and team bonuses.
There are 14 ranks to achieve in this water company and they are:
- Partner
- Senior Partner
- Director
- Regional Director
- National Director
- Executive Director
- Ambassador
- 1* Ambassador
- 2* Ambassador
- 3* Ambassador
- 4* Ambassador
- 5* Ambassador
- Global Ambassador
- Platinum Global Ambassador
Is H9 Water An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
Just about all MLM ventures adopt the pyramid style of compensation, but that doesn’t mean they are running illegal business operations.
The definition of an illegal pyramid is a “naked” pyramid. What this entails is a money making operation based on a pyramid structure that doesn’t have any products. These schemes also fully rely on new money coming in through recruitment to pay existing member profits.
H9 Water does actually sell real products, so it beats the rap of illegal pyramid scheme.
Target Audience
I guess if you’re really into your health and wellness, and designer water in particular, then this gig might interest you. MLM also appeals to people who want to get a start in something to make money without having to brainstorm and come up with original ideas. Everything is all ready to go.
What I Like
- Designer water is at least a little different than the usual health and wellness fare of magic diet pills and energy drinks
- 90 day money back guarantee
- Unilevel compensation plan
What I Don’t Like
- There is really only one product
- The water is expensive
- It would be hard to sell and recruit for a MLM company with a real lack of products
- 95% of all people who try making money with MLM fail
- Network marketing is one of the toughest areas to make an income in
- All the advantages go to the company
- You will end up doing loads of work for basically nothing in most cases
- You will need to recruit like mad
How Much Does H9 Water Cost?
To get involved in the business is pretty expensive, as you first have to purchase a H9 Marketing Pack for $99 which will give you all the business materials you need to get started, but you are also required to buy a Partner Pack (8 boxes of water) for $499.
Is H9 Water a Scam?
I wouldn’t say it’s a scam, but it is a very limited kind of a deal with just the one product, and an expensive one at that. I’d imagine this would be a really hard sell, both peddling the water and the business opportunity.
I don’t like MLM anyway, but there are far better ones out there than the H9 Water deal.
Affiliate Marketing VS MLM
Although MLM seems to appeal to the masses for some reason, it’s really not the best way to try and earn a decent income. I’ve done MLM, but these days I don’t bother. Affiliate marketing is way easier, way better and far more profitable.
Let’s take a brief snap shot of the advantages affiliate marketing holds over multi level marketing:
- You don’t need to be social and constantly recruiting
- You can actually make money while you sleep
- Develop multiple income sources that are residual and passive
- Work for yourself from home in your own business
- Spend more time with friends and family
- You won’t annoy everyone by trying to sell them things all the time
- Promote products to a worldwide audience
- No buying, selling or shipping products
- No membership fees or monthly auto-ship
- Make commissions as high as 100%
- No selling or promoting over-priced products
- No rank advancement necessary to earn decent money
This list could go on and on and on, in all seriousness.
These days I make well over a fulltime income from my online business, and you could just as easily be doing the same. It’s way better than trying to make money with MLM. Trust me on that.
I didn’t figure out how to do this. I just followed a proven blueprint and it worked. To learn more about it, just click on the banner below.
