What Is Pruvit?

Pruvit was founded by current CEO Brian Underwood. This company uses the ever-popular multi level marketing method to distribute its products and it is yet another company operating in the super saturated health and wellness niche.

Although there is an overload of companies selling health supplements and stuff these days, some try to differentiate themselves from the competition by focusing on a particular aspect or key ingredient. In the case of Pruvit, their claim to fame is the use of Ketone in its drink supplements.

We’ll take a look at what products Pruvit have on offer, and then get on with the main purpose of this review – To take a look at the business opportunity associated with the Pruvit company.

Pruvit Products

This company loves Ketone, but what is Ketone exactly and what does it do?

Ketones are an organic compound produced in the liver. Ketones actually help the body use fats as a source of energy, thus becoming a fat metaboliser. The use of Ketones in Pruvit products are designed to help people strip away excess body fat, as well as keep that fat from returning in those unwanted zones.

Let’s quickly take a look at the Pruvit products that contain Ketone.

1. Keto Kreme
2. Keto Max Raspberry Lemonade
3. Keto Max Swiss Cacao
4. Keto Max Maui Punch
5. Keto OS Chocolate Swirl
6. Keto OS Orange Dream
7. Family Pack

These are all Ketone-based energy drinks and diet supplements that come in a variety of flavours. Each and every one is designed to help you efficiently burn fat and enjoy an overall sense of wellbeing and improved health.

As is the case with all products in MLM companies, the prices are sky high. For example, 20 servings of Keto OS Swiss Cacao costs a whopping $130!

The MLM Business Opportunity

As mentioned, Pruvit has chosen the MLM method for product sales and distribution, and this company focuses even more heavily on recruitment than most other MLM ventures.

There are a number of reasons why I don’t like the MLM way of doing business. Everything favours the company and not the workforce. That’s exactly why companies opt for this business model.

Pruvit don’t have to pay wages and they get most of their advertising and promotion for free. The workforce (distributors) essentially buy and sell all the products and grow the business through constant recruitment.

It’s all great for the company, but there are not many advantages for distributors if you really break it all down.

MLM ventures always promote the business opportunity as having your very own business, but you never own a business – Pruvit does.

If you truly want to have your own business, one that is genuinely yours, then do what I do.

The Compensation Plan

As is the case with just about all compensation plans with the MLM structure, there are two main ways to earn an income:

1. Direct sales
2. Recruiting

Pruvit really pushes the recruitment side, as they state they want to build a community of healthy lifestyle lovers. What they really want is to grow their customer base by getting more and more people to join, pay a joining fee, buy a Starter Kit and have to purchase products every month.

This is how MLM companies predominantly make sales – to their own distributor base.

Once again, awesome for the company when they can make their free workforce buy all their products.

You don’t have to buy one of the expensive Promoter Packs to register as a distributor. You can pay the joining fee and simply purchase a single product, but the kits are definitely encouraged.

When you recruit people into your downlines at Pruvit, that’s when you can start to move up the ranks and also earn residual commissions on your recruits as well as a variety of bonuses. Pruvit has 10 different ranks you can vie for, and the higher the rank, the more you can potentially earn. They also refer to many of their bonuses as “rewards”.

Is Pruvit An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?

The definition of an illegal pyramid scheme is one that’s called a “naked” pyramid. The naked pyramid relies solely on recruitment to keep running and has no products of any inherent value.

As Pruvit does have real products, it cannot be classified as an illegal pyramid scheme despite operating with a pyramid compensation structure.

Target Audience

MLM targets people looking to get started in something that is already established. You don’t really get to own a business, but they do sell it that way. With the emphasis on living healthy these days, many people are attracted to the multitude of products in the health and wellness niche.

What I Like

• The benefits of Ketones does sound interesting

What I Don’t Like

• It’s just a typical MLM company
• The health and wellness niche has seriously been done to death
• The prices of Pruvit products are ridiculously expensive
• Most people make zero dollars profit by becoming a MLM distributor
• You need to recruit like mad to get anywhere with MLM
• Selling health and wellness products at these prices will be really, really hard
• Those who do make money with MLM only average about $500 a year before expenses

How Much Does Pruvit Cost?

There is a $37 joining fee to become a distributor for Pruvit. You also have to purchase at least one product. Pruvit really encourage you to buy a kit, though, and here are the prices of the kits.

1. Family Pack = $408
2. Experience Pack = $928
3. Max Experience Pack = $1300

All very expensive.

Is Pruvit a Scam?

It’s no more of a scam than any other MLM company. It’s a real business with real products, but at those prices, Pruvit will be very hard to sell at a retail level or to those you try to recruit. Health and wellness is a super competitive niche with literally hundreds of companies all vying for a piece of the pie.

Out of all the health and wellness MLMs I’ve reviewed so far, Pruvit will likely be the toughest to make money in because their prices are absolutely ridiculous for what the products are. Even if you have your heart set on MLM, I’d give this one a miss.

When you sell for MLM companies, you put in loads of time, work and money just to make someone else rich. You're far better off doing something that'll make you rich instead. Forget MLM – Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Instead

I’ve done my share of MLM over the years, but more recently I discovered an online business that is just so much better I’ll never go back to MLM ever again.

I do affiliate marketing for a living and there really is no comparison between this form of marketing and multi level marketing. Affiliate marketing is way superior.

Let’s look at a brief snap shot of advantages:

• No recruiting to make money or increase your income
• Actually work for yourself and be your own boss
• Work from home or anywhere you like
• Promote any product you want to a global marketplace
• Earn commissions as high as 100% in some cases
• Earn residual and passive income streams
• No buying and selling products
• No super expensive product prices
