What Is SigTrack?
Firstly, doing work for SigTrack is not a career move. You won’t make enough money with this to replace your current job. It’s going to be a bit of part-time cash in your spare time at best.
What SigTrack primarily involves is doing menial and monotonous date entry work. SigTrack acts as a portal for companies that need these mundane tasks completed, and people who are willing to do the work for some small rewards.
Basically you are working as a freelancer when you complete tasks for SigTrack. You are not employed by the company in any way.

How It Works
First things first, you must create a free SigTrack account. You don’t need any prior experience. A part of this process involves a 3 minute Skype interview, where you are required to prove your identity, and that you are a US resident. This opportunity is only open to people living in the USA.
Another requirement is that you must have a dual monitor setup to easily perform the tasks you are given. A fast internet speed is also a mandatory requirement.
Once you’ve passed the Skype interview and your account is active, then you can start doing the SigTrack assigned tasks. The main tasks involved in this data entry job include things like voter registrations and petition signatures.
There is a lot of information to be entered via your computer to make any money with this gig, and it’s going to get really tedious and boring, so keep that in mind. If you are a restless kind of soul, then this job is not for you.
There seems to be an endless supply of work on this site, so you can basically jump on board any time of the day or night and get to work earning some cash. Sometimes there may not be any work available, but generally there is always something you can get involved in.
How Much Money Can You Make With SigTrack?
At the end of the day, the very reason you are reading this review is one, to discover what SigTrack is really all about, and two, what kind of money you’ll be likely to make if you jump on board.
Let’s take a look at the rates of pay for working on SigTrack tasks.
A lot of this job is about matching signatures on petitions to names listed on the electoral roll and inputting the data. The rate of pay for this is 3.7 cents per signature verified. This involves usually around 10 keystrokes. You earn double the amount if you find information that doesn’t match up. Other tasks pay around 15 cents per task completed.
Apparently, according to SigTrack, data entry operators can manage to input anywhere from 250 to 500 signatures per hour, depending on experience. This works out to be about $18.50 per hour at the top end. How long you could keep up that kind of pace I don’t know, but that’s the possibilities. I’d say a more realistic figure would be around $10-$12 per hour for most people.
That’s not bad, but after one hour you might be sick to death of it.
If you are not accurate when inputting the data, watch out. SigTrack will deduct funds from your account for inaccuracy.
Payment is made on a Wednesday each week and participants are paid via PayPal.
Target Audience
This is targeted at anyone in the US who has some spare time and would like to earn some cash on the side. Sounds like it pays better than things like surveys, but probably a lot more tedious and boring too.

- You have to be a US resident to participate
- You lose money for inaccuracy
- The work is really tedious and boring
- Doing this for long periods of time to make some decent money might drive you crazy
- You have to be really fast – and accurate – to make a decent hourly rate
How Much Does SigTrack Cost?
It doesn’t cost anything to join the platform and become a SigTrack data entry operator. Apart from paying for internet (which you do anyway), there aren’t really any expenses either. Maybe a few extra coffees to keep you awake and focused, so your coffee bill might go up.
Is SigTrack a Scam?
As far as mindless money making opportunities online go, SigTrack measures up okay. It won’t make you rich, and you probably can’t do this tedious work for long periods, but it definitely pays more than things like rewards sites and paid online surveys.
Rewards sites pay hardly anything, and surveys are usually lucky to earn you about $3 per hour for your valuable time. At least with SigTrack you have a chance of hitting double figures for your hourly rate, and you can pick and choose when you want to do the work.
For me one of the major downsides is that it’s only available to US residents, whereas rewards sites and surveys are often global opportunities.
