I’ve written about this subject in one form or another many times before, so in this post I’m just going to offer a bridged version of the benefits of an online business.
Low Overheads and Running Costs
Now this could vary considerably if you are running an online shop and you have inventory to stock and ship out, but if not, then running a business online can be very cheap compared to offline businesses.
For one you can usually do it from a home office, which means you’re not paying to rent a business premises, or extra electricity and phone accounts. You can just use your existing home internet connection and need access to a computer. Sometimes even a tablet will suffice.
Tax Deductions
What you can claim will vary depending on where you live, but generally you can claim a portion of your rent (or mortgage payment) as a deduction for your home office, as well as electricity, internet and phone. So some definite advantages there.
No Traffic Frustration
That’s right. You get out of bed and walk to work into your home office. No time spent commuting to a fro, no frustration of traffic snarls, save on fuel costs. Not to mention the health benefits of not having to go through that every morning and evening.
Wear Whatever You Want
If your home-based business doesn’t require you to meet any customers/clients face to face, then you can wear whatever you want to work for the day. Work in your PJs, or work naked if no one else is around. It’s entirely up to you. Put on those comfy slippers or go barefoot. The choice is yours.
Spend More Time With Family
This is a big one for many people. Being able to spend more time at home with loved ones is huge. Whether you’re a mum or dad, the advantages are the same for either parent. If you are good at multi-tasking you can even get business and housework done during the day almost simultaneously. No more trying to fit in dropping off the kids to school with your work hours. The hours you choose to work are up to you for the most part.
Lifestyle Freedom
This is really a combination of everything. You get to do all of the above, plus have the freedom to work wherever you want. Take your laptop to the park or the beach, or even on vacation. If you set up the right type of online business, then you really will have the lifestyle freedom to work from anywhere in the world.

I studied with a place called Wealthy Affiliate. It’s all done online so you can work away at your business and do the study any time it suits you. It’s free to get started, but there is a paid upgrade option if you really want to take your learning to the next level, and it’s well worth it. Things like low overheads are a bonus that people working in offices don’t get to enjoy.
lt`s true working online gives so much freedom, there is no fun than going to your children`s soccer play,drama at school just to mention a few.
To me personally, the best part of working from home is being able to wake up when you are ready,not stagger out of bed because you have to drive to an office you do not want to be in the first place.

The advantages of working online are many. I’ve always enjoyed working from home. I’ve never been one who has liked going to a job every day. Sure, I’ve done that plenty, but I’ve always strived to work from home because it’s more me and offers a lot more freedom and flexibility. Thanks for reading. I’ve always loved the idea of running a small online business due to all the perks one gets. Some options may only need an email address to communicate with their clients, customers and suppliers digitally. Other sartups might use their website to conduct their entire business on the internet. The options are endless!
