What Is 4Life?
4Life kicked off proceedings in the MLM world back in 1998, so they have been around for quite a while now. This is yet another MLM company involved in the highly saturated and competitive health and wellness niche.
So, from a business opportunity perspective, 4Life already has 2 major factors going against it.
- The name of the brand and associated opportunity is already saturated after two decades of exposure
- The products and opportunity are in the most congested niche in the MLM marketplace
If you are reading this review, likely you have been approached by someone to either buy the 4Life products, or more than likely, to jump aboard the business opportunity and enter someone’s downline.
While I will briefly touch on the products in the next section, this review is mostly focused on whether 4Life is a profitable opportunity, or whether you’re better off giving it a miss and searching out other ways to make money.
While it’s possible to make money with MLM, it’s a really tough way of making some cash, and it’s slow.

4Life Products
4Life have offices, products and distributors in most countries across the globe. Although the majority of their products are health and wellness, with products like energy bars and supplements, they do also offer things like toothpaste and skincare products as well.
There are far too many products to list here, but I will collate just a select sample of what’s available:
- Heart supplements
- Nutrition and energy drinks
- Skincare
- Cardio pills
- Energy and protein bars
- Dietary shakes
- Fat burners
- Anti stress formulas
- Vitamins for women and men, as well as kids
- Various kits
- And stacks more…
Although 4Life are not really offering anything new and innovative here as compared to all the other companies in this niche, they do have a vast selection of products to choose from.
One further thing I will state regarding the products, and a fact I found surprising, is that the prices are reasonable. Generally anything MLM is through the roof due to the nature of their compensation plans. Also, health and wellness products these days seem to be notoriously expensive no matter how they are distributed.
With the 4Life range I am happy to report that their prices do seem fair and reasonable.
The 4Life Compensation Plan
Let’s now take a look at the 4Life business opportunity and how their compensation plan works.
With all MLM ventures there are 2 main ways to earn:
- Direct sales
- Earning from people you recruit
Of course, things go far deeper than that in MLM, but that’s basically the main ways to earn money with 4Life. You can either just focus on making some profit selling products to customers for a mark up or commission, or you can get active building a team and earning residual commissions and bonuses from the combined effort of those in your team.
There are various bonuses you can secure, such as:

- Rank Advancement Bonus
- Master Builder Trip
- Great Escape Trip
And so on.
There are also a number of ranks you can aim for, and really it is the process of achieving higher ranks that places you in a better position to be successful with a MLM venture such as 4Life.

The MLM Business Opportunity
Over the years countless millions of people have been drawn into various MLM schemes across the planet. Out of all these millions who try MLM, some 95% or more fail completely.
There are many reasons for this, but the biggest one is an inability to recruit new members and form an active downline. Because in reality, MLM is set up in such a way that creating downlines is necessary to have a chance of advancing and earning decent money. Most people come totally unstuck when it comes to recruiting and they either grow stagnant or quit.
Another important thing to consider is this: Companies decide to adopt the MLM compensation and distribution structure for a very good reason. It’s to their benefit. They save loads of money on both wages and advertising, as essentially they amass a free workforce that does all the buying, selling and business expansion for them. Often the distributors are also the main customers, being forced to purchase products every month to remain eligible to earn commissions and bonuses.
It’s all a bit of a rort for the vast majority, while favouring the company owners and the select few lucky individuals at the very top.

Is 4Life An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
For this company to be classified as an illegal pyramid scheme, it would have to be devoid of any products, as well as relying totally on recruiting new members for its income. As 4Life has products, and plenty of them, it can’t be an illegal pyramid scheme despite the structure of its compensation plan.
What I Like
- The company has been around for a long time now
- The products and opportunity are available in many countries around the world
- The prices of the products are reasonable
- 4Life is more transparent when it comes to things like earning potential and that the business is not easy
- They have a large range of products
What I Don’t Like
- You will be competing against millions of others all out there selling health and wellness products
- The name 4Life is quite saturated by now
- The health and wellness niche is majorly competitive
- MLM is one of the hardest ways to make money
- Most people fail because they cannot recruit
- Some 80% of people make zero dollars as 4Life distributors
How Much Does 4Life Cost To Join?
In order to join 4Life as a distributor, you must first purchase a Welcome Kit, which costs $29.95. After that, it’s a matter of buying whatever products and extra business materials you need to get the job done.
Is 4Life a Scam?
I don’t see any scam here. MLM is a tough way to make an income, and an even harder way to make a fulltime living. However, this company’s products seem quite good and the prices are fair.
I still wouldn’t recommend it unless you both love the products and believe you can recruit continuously to grow your business and put yourself in a position to potentially earn more. Moving up the company ranks is essential to MLM success.
There are easier ways to make decent money out there, though.
