~ 8 Minute Profits Reviews ~

What Is 8 Minute Profits?

Is 8 Minute Profits a Scam8 Minute Profits is brought to us by two very active online entrepreneurs named Mark Barrett & Paul Prissick. I’ve actually recently reviewed several other platforms by these same guys:

  1. 20 Minute Results
  2. 5 Day Fix

The second one of the list is actually not too bad while the first is pretty average.

8 Minute Profits is yet another “make money online” program, where they claim you can make the unusual figure of $283.03 per day in just 8 minutes with totally 100% FREE traffic!

But is this true?

After the sales video – which is actually only pretty short as far as sales videos go for these types of platforms – they then go on to tell us what we WON’T be doing to get traffic, which includes things like:

  • No SEO or ranking websites
  • No Facebook ads
  • No PPC advertising
  • No organic search engine traffic
  • No solo ads
  • No YouTube traffic
  • And so on…

If that’s the case, yet we are going to be making close to $300 in 8 minutes, how do we achieve this without using the most common sources of traffic?

How It Works

So far this program is sounding way too good to be true.

We are now told we can have traffic flowing to our offers and making us money in as little as 8 minutes. So where is this traffic magically going to come from so quickly?

This is how it really works. What you’ll be doing is buying traffic from “get paid to” sites. You know, things like rewards sites where people get paid pennies to sit and watch video ads and so on. That’s where your traffic is going to come from. So the line about 100% free traffic is total BS!

And I’ll tell you, that kind of traffic is some of the worst kind of traffic you can ever hope to get. People are only clicking on your ad because they have to in order to earn some rewards. What little traffic you might get is likely going to be very untargeted.

What You Get

For your initial joining fee you gain access to a series of 8 training videos that explains the process of how to go about making this money in just 8 minutes a day. You will also receive some bonuses, which are:

  • Bonus 1 – A course that shows you how to make your first $1000 on the internet for newbies.
  • Bonus 2 – Affiliate Machine teaches you how to set up an affiliate campaign and make a profit.
  • Bonus 3 – Traffic Secret unveils a formula to getting unlimited traffic.

The Upsells

Platforms like this one, especially if they start out with a low price tag, generally make their real money on a series of upsells once people are in the doors, so to speak. 8 Minute Profits has a few upsells, and we’ll take a brief look at what they are.

  • Upsell 1 – Receive 10 pre-written emails for your email sequence $17.
  • Upsell 2 – For this one you get an additional 15 traffic sources. Free traffic? Not sure $17.
  • Upsell 3 – This is the Masterclass Series of extra training which includes video training and case studies $97.

Limited Time Offer BS

On the sales page they claim you better buy right now, because the price will be increasing with every single sale. I guarantee I could come back to their website in a month and the price will either still be the same, or might even be cheaper.

They just want you to act fast and not think about it. This is a common ploy used by salespeople, whether peddling legit products or not. Don’t listen to it.

Target Audience

I believe 8 Minute Profits is targeted at people looking to get their first start making money online. This doesn’t really have much at all that would appeal to internet marketers with experience.

What I Like

  • It’s cheap to join and try it out
  • The owners have created some other programs that are okay
  • 30 day money back guarantee

What I Don’t Like

  • The traffic methods they recommend are not very good sources of quality traffic
  • You will be spending money on really cold and untargeted leads
  • People clicking on ads to earn rewards likely are not interested in what you’re offering
  • Too many upsells for my liking
  • The training doesn’t go very deep and is rather generic
  • What they teach isn’t likely to make anyone much money today
  • The 100% FREE traffic they promote is a lie, as you are buying traffic from rewards sites
  • Far too much sales hype and not enough substance
  • The sales page contains the usual bogus-sounding testimonials that heap praise on the program

How Much Does 8 Minute Profits Cost?

Apparently it used to sell for as little as $4.95, but as of this writing the cost is $17 (marked down from $97). Then there are the upsells, but they are optional. Although they will stress to you that you need them in order to make the 8 Minute Profits system work.

Is 8 Minute Profits a Scam?

I don’t think it’s a scam, it’s just not very good. There might be something useful for newbies, but really this system is likely to send newcomers down the wrong path from the very beginning. The training is pretty average, and the likelihood of being able to make anywhere near $300 in 8 minutes with this system really is just fantasy. The traffic they suggest you target is next to useless.

I’d give this one a miss, even though it’s quite cheap. There are way better training platforms out there that show you far better methods of making money on the internet.

Make Money Online Like I Do!

What these guys are essentially teaching is making money with affiliate marketing, but their methods – and particularly their traffic sources – are not very effective.

I do affiliate marketing for a living and that’s how I make most of my online income. However, I learnt how to do it in a much better and far more effective way; a way that leads to genuine profitability.

  1. Very insightful review!

I’ve seen this program pop up awhile ago while I was browsing the internet.

I totally agree with the notion that reward websites have the worst kind of traffic to use for affiliate marketing. Most of the time they’re just interested in a quick buck instead of building a solid foundation to make money of like you’re offering with wealthy affiliate.

    • You are dead right. The traffic you get from rewards sites and “paid to” sites is pretty well worthless. The people on there aren’t really interested in what you have to offer. They’re only clicking because they earn points by doing so.

There’s a lot of stuff on the internet that does pay something, but many of them don’t pay much. I can’t see how anyone is going to make $1000s with 8 Minute Profits.
