What Is Next Job At Home?

Next Job At Home is a portal to seek out advertised jobs that can be done from the comfort of your own home. The whole idea of the site is to offer up a smorgasbord of “work from home” jobs, where there is no daily commute and everything can be handled remotely.

There are all sorts of jobs on offer, such as:

  • Data entry
  • Admin work
  • Virtual assistant
  • Freelance writing jobs
  • And so on…

There are better ways than this to make money online, that's for sure. I do affiliate marketing, and it's actually pretty easy when you know how to do it right. Go over and read my review of Wealthy Affiliate. It's the blueprint I followed for online success. It's even free to join up.

Next Job At Home Is a Scam

How It Works

As a jobseeker, you first need to register an account with Next Job At Home. This is a very simple process initially. You just fill in some very basic info, create a job alert and upload a resume. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide on sign up. Confirm your application by clicking the link in the email and you’re ready to start searching the platform for work at home jobs.

On the platform you can search by your location, as well as keywords relevant to the type of work you are looking for. You will then be presented with a list of possible job options to choose from and peruse further.

What happens when you click on a job of interest is you will be redirected to another website called “ZipRecruiter”, which is the real job platform hosting the available work online at home jobs. Next Job At Home is merely a portal to ZipRecruiter, a feeder site. The two sites share a partnership.

I run a business from home that earns a 5 figure monethly income. Click for details.

Some Things To Be Aware Of

A lot of the jobs advertised are not really paid employment, but more work at home opportunities, such as network marketing (MLM) gigs and so on. There are also a number of scams advertised on Next Job At Home (as in banner ads) that you should avoid, as they will just take your money and run. There are some real jobs as well, but you need to sift through and do your research to make sure it’s a real paying job.

MLM opportunities and the like are not something where someone will employ you to do a task and pay you for your time or a flat rate for the work.

Some Features Missing

A few things that struck me as odd about this website is a lack of contact information and FAQ page. There’s also no “About Us” page.

When I visit a website for the first time, I like to know there is some way to get in touch with the site administrators, even just an email address. I also often check the About Us page.

More importantly, with a jobseeker site such as this one, people are generally going to have natural questions about how it all works. That’s where a FAQ page really comes into its own.

There’s none of that on the Next Job At Home website, and that seems really unusual for a site of this nature.

Target Audience

This platform is definitely targeting both jobseekers and people seeking to employ somebody, either fulltime, part-time or very casually. It also attracts some dodgy platforms as well, so be aware of that.

What I Like

  • It’s free to join as a jobseeker
  • It can be handy having online work at home jobs all in the one place

What I Don’t Like

  • No contact information
  • No frequently asked questions section
  • No About Us page information
  • The website is merely a feeder site for ZipRecruiter
  • There are some scams advertised
  • A lot of the “jobs” are work at home opportunities and not actual paying gigs

How Much Does Next Job At Home Cost?

It’s free to join both the Next Job At Home and ZipRecruiter sites as a jobseeker. There is no charge. I presume these websites make their money from both advertising, and those posting their job opportunities.

How To Become An Affiliate Marketer

Is Next Job At Home a Scam?

I wouldn’t say Next Job At Home is a scam in any way. It simply works in conjunction with ZipRecruiter, which is a well respected online job hunt website. Next Job At Home just feeds people over to ZipRecruiter.

Some of the jobs are not real jobs, and there are some scams advertised via banner ads and the like on the Next Job At Home website, so be careful of those.

In reality, you could just skip Next Job At Home and do all your job seeking on ZipRecruiter instead.

Want To Work From Home? You Might Like To Try This!

If you are looking for something to do online where you can make good money, have you considered doing what I do, which is affiliate marketing?

It’s not a job where you get paid for your time. It’s an opportunity to start a simple online business that costs next to nothing and can literally bring in thousands of dollars a month in income once established.

I’ve been doing affiliate marketing for a few years now and it’s become my fulltime income source. Much of my income now comes in passively, as in work I did in the past still generates money today.

  1. So if I were looking for jobs where I could work from home, should I just go directly to zip recruiter and cut out the middle man entirely? In this case, next job at home. Also, why do a lot of multi level marketing companies advertise on job boards if they aren’t exactly jobs?

    • These are good questions, Jessie. I guess in the case of MLM, they just like to get the work out wherever they can. Recruiting is tough and distributors will often resort to making out like they have a real job offer just to suck people in.

With regards to places like Zip Recruiter, yes I’d recommend just going firectly to the job sites. You don’t need a middle man.
