Some Facts and Figures About Affiliate Marketing

The following analysis of affiliate earnings has been bandied about the internet a lot. Basically it shows the 5 tiers of affiliate marketing when it comes to experience level and dollars earned.

1. Affiliate Apprentice – Losing money
2. Low Level Affiliate – Earning anywhere from $0 per day up to $300 per day
3. Intermediate Affiliate – Earning from $300 per day up to $3000 per day
4. High Level Affiliate – Earning anything above $3000 per day.
5. The ‘Bag of Dicks’ Affiliate – Earns a minimum of $10,000 per day and considers anything less to be doing it wrong.

The above figures are quoting PROFIT, not revenue. This is how much money these affiliates are actually making – per day – after expenses!

The above is interesting to say the least. Of course when we’re just starting out we are all apprentices and are not really expecting to make money right away. That’s just normal. What we want to strive for is to reach the level of Low Level Affiliate and start earning some money from our efforts.

While being a “Low Level Affiliate” might not sound very exciting – and the words don’t exactly drip with experience and respect – it’s a start and a huge step in the right direction.

You see, once you learn how to make just a few dollars online consistently, you have actually learnt a huge lesson. You have learnt how to do something that actually works and makes money. You also start to really believe in what you are doing.

From that point on it’s merely a matter of scaling things up, applying what you’ve learned and repeating the process so you will make even more money from your online business. Once you’re onto a successful formula (and it takes a little time and experimentation to work that out) you can just keep duplicating that formula for exponential success!

We should all strive to reach the level of “Intermediate Affiliate”, as then we are truly making some more serious cash. Anywhere from $9000 – $90,000 per month!
