If you are in business online, then you will realise the importance of a community whom you can bounce ideas off, seek encouragement and support from, and share knowledge. Wealthy Affiliate’s community of members is one such vast and valuable online business resource for me, and it can be for you too if you care to join and sign up for a free membership to get started.
I call it my “mastermind group”. Famous people like Henry Ford had a mastermind group, and it’s been preached about in many self-help books and wealth guides over the decades.
The thing is, even though we might be in business alone, working online, we don’t need to totally go it alone. No matter how smart we might be, we all can benefit from the knowledge, wisdom and experience of others who share the same interest and are aiming for the same goals.
If you’ve ever tried to come up with every single idea for everything in life yourself, then you’d be in real trouble; not to mention totally frying your brain in the process. We all have something different and unique to offer in this world, and that’s especially important when it comes to successfully implementing and running a business online.
Although Wealthy Affiliate primarily targets affiliate marketing in their training, what you learn there, along with the knowledge of the community, goes far beyond just learning how to be successful at affiliate marketing. The community and the training is invaluable to all types of online business endeavours, and the skills you acquire can serve both amateurs and seasoned professionals alike.
In fact, there are people who are members of Wealthy Affiliate who are highly successful online, as well as numerous newbies just starting out on their online journey.
I’ve been an active member of Wealthy Affiliate for over 2 years now, and even though I completed their official training a long, long time ago, the community and their wisdom is just too valuable a resource for me to ever give it up, so I continue to remain a member and don’t plan on changing that scenario anytime soon.
Having your very own mastermind group online or offline is vitally important for success in anything we attempt to do. Online, where we often go it alone, or turn to social media (such as Facebook) for encouragement and support, having a mastermind group of likeminded individuals is a necessity and not a luxury.

I’m a newbie to Wealthy Affiliate and have really been living the training. I’ve been thinking about blogging for a few years now, but never really knew where to start. So stumbling upon Wealthy Affiliate has been really nice.
I’ve been wondering if I would continue to find value in it as I gain more experience. It’s good to hear from a veteran such as yourself that there is value in it at all levels.

One of the most important things that you mentioned in this article was engagement. I have found it very valuable to engage with other affiliate marketers on Wealthy Affiliate. In addition, I enjoy being able to see what other people are working on and receive feedback on my own projects.
The community is what makes the membership totally worth it!
