When it comes to a company called Wealthy Affiliate, some people mistakenly think it’s a platform to generate an income, or some flash in the pan way of making a killing online.
In this short post I’ll clarify exactly what Wealthy Affiliate is and isn’t.
So, what does Wealthy Affiliate do and not do?
It’s Not A “Get Rich Quick” Scheme
That’s right. There is no get rich quick mentality associated with Wealthy Affiliate. In fact, it’s not a money making system at all, but you can make money promoting it as an affiliate. Those who seek to get rich quick end up getting attracted to and sucked into scams. There are many scams out there proclaiming great riches in amazingly short periods of time for very little effort. All you have to do is first hand over your cash to access the secrets.
It’s all bullshit!
Wealthy Affiliate isn’t one of these scams and should never be lumped in with them or even be spoken about in association with bogus get rich quick schemes. And WA never promotes themselves as such.
Wealthy Affiliate Is A Training Platform
Essentially, Wealthy Affiliate is all about training, teaching genuine people who want to set up a business how to make money online. Even the members contribute free trainings for the benefit of everyone there.
While WA have a good affiliate program – just like millions of businesses across the globe do – they are primarily all about training, coaching and support when getting started and established in the online world of business.
It’s not even all about affiliate marketing either, although that is the main thrust. The training on offer at WA teaches anyone and everyone valuable skills and insights into doing all sorts of business online, not matter what it is.

I think your explanation of what WA is and is not; was very informative and very correct.
So many people think they can go right online and start making money. That’s how they get sucked in to scams and lose money.
We need education for everything we do in life and affiliate marketing is no exception. Wealthy Affiliate has everything you need to succeed; but you need to do the lessons and apply what you learn. It doesn’t happen overnight. But good things come to those who work and wait.

You are right, without some sort of training it’s hard to know how to go about doing an online business, and Wealthy Affiliate breaks this down into easy to follow and absorb chunks. It’s all quite straightforward once you’ve been shown how.
