More than 75 million sites worldwide are built using the WordPress platform. That’s how popular WordPress is. WP accounts for almost 20% of all websites active on the internet today. That’s huge. Maybe it’s because WordPress is quite a simple CMS for everyday people to use. Users can create nice looking, functional websites without the need to be a coder. Now while it’s simple to use, WordPress can be hungry when it comes to resources and it has its own little unique idiosyncrasies. What I’m getting at is that good hosting for WP sites requires a certain kind of hosting platform that is tailor made to WordPress. So, what it the best WordPress hosting site then?

In my opinion and experience, WP Engine is the clear winner; based on price, performance and the fact that WP Engine are WordPress specialists. They host nothing else, just WordPress sites.

Why Use Managed Hosting For WordPress?

Servers that are designed specifically to manage WordPress sites are planned, created and constructed to handle everything WordPress will throw at them. Added to this is a support team that focuses solely on WordPress and issues that are unique to WordPress. Essentially what you get when you host with a platform that are WordPress specialists is a much more stable environment for your websites, and having the peace of mind that tech support has your back should you ever need them.

With dedicated WordPress hosting you will find the page loading speeds on your website are greatly increased. This means readers will stay on your site and are likely to spend more time browsing your site if everything they click on loads fast.

Why Choose WP Engine?

It’s not the cheapest managed WordPress hosting, but it’s not the most expensive either. WP Engine has packages that can suit the small time blogger right through to massive collections of authority and business websites. Believe me, if your WordPress website is important to you and vital for your business, then you seriously want to consider getting managed hosting from a specialist company like WP Engine. Paying a little more for hosting is nothing compared to the increase in profits you could make in the long run through having very stable and lightning fast websites. You could go for cheaper hosting with a generic company, but you won’t get the kind of support, speed and stability you will get from managed hosting with a specialist platform.

WP Engine are those WordPress specialists. They don’t adopt a “one size fits all” approach to hosting. They focus purely on WP.

The staff and creators of WP Engine all love WordPress. They live and breathe WordPress every single day. Having a team behind you that are as passionate about your success as you are is a rare thing to encounter in the online world, but that’s what you get when you host with this company.

Some Advantages of Using WP Engine

  • Work From HomeCompetitive pricing

  • 24/7/365 access to tech support
  • A WordPress hosting company that actually cares
  • Multi-levels of high-tech website security
  • Daily site backups
  • Firewall protection
  • Automatic malware scanning
  • Fulltime engineering staff and labs team
  • Site speed reports
  • Developer tools
  • Performance analytics in real time

Quality, Dedicated, managed Hosting Is The Way To Go

You need a quality hosting company to look after you and your websites, otherwise your business could suffer as a result. WP Engine are no “fly by night” hosting company either. They’ve been around for more than a decade now and host websites from 120 countries. Budget hosting just doesn’t cut the mustard in so many ways; especially if your site gets a lot of traffic or is a large website. Generic servers can’t handle this very well and you’ll just find you have to move up a few steps to more specialised hosting anyway. Might as well make it hosting that specialises in WordPress right from the outset.

The servers at WP Engine can handle anything your website will throw at them. Their servers are built robust for this very reason. Even if your sites are not that big yet or drawing on a lot of resources, they may do so in the future and you want to know you have room for growth and expansion. You also want to know that you won’t have any chance of your sites going down because a generic host demands you change hosting plans mid-stream (which can mean downtime for your sites that ultimately cost you money).

The wise option is to plan ahead and set yourself up with the very best hosting to begin with, and when you are running WordPress sites, the best managed hosting out there is WP Engine.

If you want to see exactly what WP Engine offer and what they charge for their hosting plans, or merely want to ask a few questions via their Live Chat feature, click the banner below and go on over to their website and take a look around.

For WordPress users, WP Engine really is the best hosting out there.

  1. I agree, premium hosting is well worth it. When my WordPress sites were on a popular hosting platform, I got hacked several times.

The hackers put backlinks into the source code of my sites for porn sites and gambling sites. It was very embarrassing and damaged my revenue.

After I paid for security and automatic backups, I realized I could get a better hosting package with WP Engine and that’s what I did.

Their support is unmatched and they made very easy to transfer my existing sites over to WP Engine.

    • Hi Gary. Yeah, that’s one of the real advantages of managed WordPress hosting: the security. Companies like WP Engine really put a huge emphasis on site security, making it a lot harder for hackers to break in. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts and experiences on this.

  2. Hi Darren
I am new to internet marketing and find you article quite informative. There is something I did not quite understand and maybe you can clarify. What do you mean when you say ‘WordPress is quite a simple CMS for everyday people to use’. I guess that I do not know what a CMS is.

  3. Hello Darren,

I’ve never came across WP engine. It seems it is an upgraded version of WP with further incentives for someone who purchase it. Besides WP, what other platform do bloggers and site owners consider to have their structured? I just found out that such platform can impact loading pages. After all this time, I thought it’s the internet connection which determine the speed of pages being loaded when clicked.

    • Bluehost also offer great managed WordPress hosting, plus all types of other hosting. Your hosting service has a lot to do with how fast your site loads, along with the internet connection speed, of course.
