What Is The Crypto Genius?
Not only are there a lot of scams popping up all over the place when it comes to trading the markets, Forex and binary options, there are also plenty of scams that like to mention various cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Both binary options trading and Bitcoin have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years, and The Crypto Genius looks to capitalise on both these trending opportunities.
Apparently this trading software that helps you trade on Bitcoin was created by a guy named Chris Peterson. He also goes on the make the statement that we can easily be making $5900 every day with his software.
That’s pretty impressive figures. Times that by a 31 day month and we get a massive $182,900 a month in income.
Okay, that’s sounds awesome and all, but it also sounds like complete bullshit. That’s over $2 million a year. If Chris Peterson is making that kind of money with his software, then why is he bothering to sell it to us?
As much as I’d like to believe what Chris is saying, quoting figures like that right off the bat is a major red flag to me. He also says this will all happen on autopilot. So you can just plug in his magic money making software, set and forget, then come back at the end of the day and count all the money you’ve made.
If this was really the case, then everybody would be doing this. I know I would be.
Who Is Chris Peterson?
Who really knows? I couldn’t dig up any information on the guy. If he was for real and had invented something that could generate the kind of money he claims, well wouldn’t he at least be mentioned somewhere?
There’s no mention of the guy at all, despite statements on his website saying how his Crypto Genius platform has been featured on CNN Money and BBC News.
His website and sales video fail to enlighten us much, either. Likely his name is a work of fiction, just like his software.
How It Works
His software is designed to trade on the cryptocurrency markets, most specifically, Bitcoin. It’s likely very similar to bot software sold for trading binary options. The software program does all the analysis and places the trades for you, usually with claims of success rates close to 100%.
Despite Wall Street being full of trading experts who generally don’t rely on bot software, these other pseudo geniuses that come out with software like The Crypto Genius try to make us believe that they’ve invented something way more accurate, with a far higher success ratio than all the best traders on the planet.
But yet, despite how awesome these software programs are, and that they are veritable money printing machines, experienced traders still refuse to use them.
Why is that?
Because it’s complete hocus pocus designed to relieve us of our hard-earned money.
The “Limited Spots Left” Ploy
While I’m on his website, a pop up keeps appearing telling me how there are only 6 spots left.
6 spots for what?
Is Chris really telling me that if I’m number 7 he’s going to refuse my $250 investment in his program?
I think not.
This is a typical ploy used by both scams and legitimate opportunities alike. The idea is to get people to stop thinking about it and hurry up and act.
Fake Testimonials
Half of the homepage on his website is taken up with what I’d seriously consider to be fake testimonials, making claims about how awesome the software is and how everyone who uses it is cashing up big time.
This is another really common ploy with scams.
As an example, a guy named Chris Matheson, who is Caucasian but has what looks like a Chinese flag next to his name, claims he made $12,001 in his first two days.
Target Audience
Seriously, this load of obvious garbage has to be aimed at people completely new to any form of trading, and people who are likely looking for some way to cash in on the Bitcoin craze. I believe the software is completely bogus, and Bitcoin is only mentioned to get people interested.
What I Like
- I seriously can’t think of one single thing I like about The Crypto Genius
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- The income claims are just simply ridiculous
- No software can predict winning trades that accurately, or everyone would be using it by now
- The website and the sales video tell you virtually nothing, other than hyping up how much money you can make once you hand over yours
- The testimonials are bogus
- The news features are false
- Chris Peterson is likely just some sort of alias
- The limited spots available deal is just a ploy to get you to act and not investigate this scam further
- Everything about Chris Peterson, his claims, his software and his website are all just lies
How Much Does The Crypto Genius Cost?
The program asks for an initial investment minimum of $250. Likely that’ll disappear down a black hole pretty quickly and you’ll be asked to invest much more to recoup that loss. That’s how these schemes operate.
Potentially you will lose thousands of dollars if you choose to get involved in The Crypto Genius or anything else out there that’s similar – and there are plenty.
Is The Crypto Genius a Scam?
I wouldn’t touch this. It’s a scam for all money. Everything is designed to convince you to hand over your real cash with the promise of all this make believe money you won’t be making.
Don’t fall for this. It’s a con job.
Schemes like this one are a lot like gambling, so you might have better luck with this lotto system.
