Likely you heard about 7 Figure Franchise online, through a friend or via an email. It sounded interesting, so you thought you would look into it a bit further. That’s exactly what I did. These days, with so many make money online (MMO) scams out there, it’s wise to do some research before jumping in and joining anything. You can’t be too careful online.
Having said that, the internet is also loaded with good opportunities to make money, or get some training that will help you make money. On my Many Income Streams websites I try to let people know about any scams I come across, as well as bringing your attention to the good stuff I find.

Firstly, there are loads of people online promoting 7 Figure Franchise and claiming it to be the best platform there is. Keep in mind that most of these people are affiliates of the program and are trying to earn commissions by getting you to buy.
There’s nothing wrong with that, but just keep it in mind when you read all the glowing reviews out there.
7 Figure Franchise is run by an online entrepreneur named Michael Cheney. I’ve reviewed some of his products in the past. “Commission Machine” is one that comes to mind.
Michael is a master of creating hype to draw people in, and that’s no different with his latest offering. He really does go overboard when hyping up how much money you could make, and also makes it sound so easy.
Rather cleverly Michael weaves in the word “franchise” into his make money system. Now while people are not buying a physical franchise such as KFC, members do technically buy into a sort of online franchise, minus all the usual legalities associated with offline franchises.
When you join 7 Figure Franchise you are essentially buying the rights to resell the same digital products to others. You do this by getting them to also buy into 7 Figure Franchise through your affiliate links.
While this is "not bad", there is other training that is loads cheaper. Wealthy Affiliate is the training I followed. You can actually get started for FREE!
How It Really Works
Let’s take a brief look at how the process works here.
First you purchase your membership and get into the training. This shows you how to promote the platform to others and drive traffic to your landing pages. After this, you then put into practice those methods to get traffic.
The idea is to get potential new members into Michael’s sales funnel. Once you’ve attracted some subscribers, Michael will then start emailing your leads, ultimately trying to get them to buy 7 Figure Franchise. If someone joins, you’ll be credited with the sale and receive a commission. The amount will depend on which product is purchased.
It sounds very smooth and easy in theory, and yes it can be done, but it’s not that easy and will take a lot more time and effort than Michael has us believe.
7 Figure Franchise is more than just about selling 7 Figure Franchise. As I said, Michael Cheney has produced a number of digital products in the past. When you sell the actual 7 Figure Franchise deal to others, you’re selling them the right to earn commissions selling both the 7 Figure Franchise platform and every other product Michael has in his suite.
When someone buys 7 Figure Franchise through your promotions and referral, you earn a 50% commission, or $1000. For every other product you manage to sell, your commissions are 100%.

You get a reseller’s license which enables you to earn 100% commissions on all other products except 7 Figure Franchise membership. There is training that shows you how to get started and promote the program, how to drive traffic and get people into a sales funnel, plus 30 days direct access support with Michael Cheney himself.
It’s basically set up like a step by step blueprint for beginning marketers to learn how to get started, but the rudimentary training isn’t going to offer much value for seasoned marketers. So just be clear that 7 Figure Franchise is more focused on product sales rather than intensive training that shows you how to do affiliate marketing.
The Basic Training
The rudimentary training mostly focuses on ways to get free traffic to the landing page, so people will join the sales funnel. Let’s very briefly take a look at what Michaels shows his members:

Insiders Upsell
After paying $1997 to join 7 Figure Franchise, you’ll be greeted with the opportunity to purchase an optional upsell simply called “Insiders”. The price is almost $5k!
What do you get for this?
Michael personally promotes your affiliate link to his vast list of followers on Facebook, Twitter and so on. Plus, Michael gives you 180 days of direct access to himself personally. Michael will also feature you on his website for 12 months.
On top of this extra stuff you can also earn $2500 commissions every time you manage to upsell one of your recruits to the Insiders membership.
Target Audience
The target market here is really two-fold. In one sense I believe Michael to be targeting newbies to online marketing, hence the rather basic training he provides.
On the other hand, because his training doesn’t really offer much, he’s also targeting experienced marketers who might be looking to promote products with high commissions.
What I Like
- The commissions are very generous, at 50% for those who join 7 Figure Franchise, then 100% on all other products that are on offer
- Michael Cheney has produced loads of digital products in the past and some people have done quite well with them
- He covers quite a few free traffic generating methods

What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- The training is very basic and won’t even really help newcomers establish any sort of strong online business
- The products as well as 7 Figure Franchise itself are expensive
- They claim you have nothing to lose because of low start up costs (is $1997 considered low?)
- To use solo ads to get traffic can work out to be very expensive
- Way over-hyped
- Michael will spam your email inbox repeatedly
How Much Does 7 Figure Franchise Cost?
It costs $1997 to join 7 Figure Franchise, or $4997 if you take the upsell for the Insiders package. Once you join you also have the option of purchasing other products brought out by Michael Cheney, but you don’t have to. You are free to promote these to others as well as the 7 Figure Franchise membership.
Is 7 Figure Franchise a Scam?
I can’t see any scam here. If you are new to affiliate marketing, then you might struggle to make money trying to sell Michael’s products, as his training just doesn’t cover enough ground for a beginner in my opinion. Experienced marketers looking for something high ticket to sell might fare better.
The downside is that in order to have the right to sell Michael Cheney’s suite of previous products, you first have to cough up nearly $2k. The majority of affiliate programs and products out there cost you nothing. You just get promoting and earning commissions.
On the upside, he does offer 100% commissions on these products, though, which is really good.
Overall 7 Figure Franchise is okay, but not highly recommended because it’s not really beginner-friendly, and the cost of entry is very high.

While it’s possible to make some money with 7 Figure Franchise, there are better and far cheaper ways to make money online.
