~ My Online Business Reviews ~

Intro

I’m really happy to see you here reading this review of My Online Business. You’ve obviously heard about it and want to be sure about it before putting your time and money into it. With so many dodgy schemes on the internet these days, that’s a really wise way to do things. It’ll save you from getting scammed. I always like to try and highlight the good and the bad that I find online.

What Is My Online Business?

The claim made by Matt Driscoll is that in just 6 steps he can show you how to become a millionaire with his My Online Business system. This is all based on learning how to sell high ticket products and earning thousands of dollars in commissions. It’s as simple as just “turning on the traffic” like a switch and seeing the commissions come rolling in constantly like waves in the surf.

As a part of the deal, when you join Matt’s My Online Business, you will be hooked up with your very own “millionaire mentor”. In fact, there will even be a sales team at the ready to close every single lead you send them, and you really only have to work around an hour a day or so to rake in the big bucks.

Sounds all pretty good so far, doesn’t it?

Sell just one high ticket product every 3 days and you’ll be well on your way to becoming a millionaire.

Another quote from Matt’s site is that he says you can even be making as much as $10,000 a day!

That’s one hell of a statement, but is this even remotely possible with My Online Business?

In a perfect world, maybe, but buying into Matt’s scheme isn’t even what you’re really getting into. You see, Matt Driscoll is simply an affiliate for another platform entirely, and all his website is designed to do is funnel people into this other platform so he can earn affiliate commissions. Matt Driscoll’s My Online Business doesn’t even really exist.

How It Really Works

Like I said, Matt’s system is really just a facade to hook you in, sell you on the dream of wealth and living the high life, then suck you into another scheme entirely. You pay Matt your joining fee and what you’ll be doing is buying a membership into an affiliate marketing/MLM scheme called MOBE (My Online Business Education).

MOBE has been around for years. It’s run by an Australian entrepreneur called Matt Lloyd. So many of their affiliates create these fake sites, pretending like they’ve developed their very own scheme to make money online, when their sites are nothing more than empty vessels. It has to be a tactic encouraged or taught by MOBE, because far too many of their affiliates do the exact same thing.

More About MOBE

To get the full rundown on the MOBE platform, read my review here.

To give you a brief snap shot, MOBE sell high ticket training and digital products, all promoted by MOBE affiliates. One of their core programs in the 21 Steps, which is where you get acquainted with your promised “millionaire mentor”. You mentor is really just a sales rep for MOBE, whose job it is to sell you expensive products as you work your way through each of the 21 steps.

MOBE affiliates can only earn commissions on products they’ve personally purchased. For this reason MOBE encourages all of its members to go “all in”. This means to buy every single product in the MOBE suite.

To do so would set you back over $50k, so there’s a lot of risk. Yes, you can make some pretty juicy commissions if you can actually entice others to buy these super expensive products, but overall it’s a tough sell, and you need to spend so much money before you’ve even had a chance to make anything.

Potentially the rewards can be big if you’re a good enough hustler, but the risks are even greater.

$500 Just For Watching the Video? Nope

Matt claims that you’ll receive $500 just for sitting through his sales video.

Not true.

I’ve seen this bogus ploy used hundreds of times now and no one ever sees the $500 at the end of the video. This is just a MOBE guarantee, where they state in their fine print that they’ll refund you $500 if you haven’t made any money within 30 days of completing their 21 Steps program.

Limited Spots Available? Nope

Also another way over-used sales pressure tactic. Some places state you have limited time to act. Matt Driscoll claims there are limited positions available to take up his offer or you miss out if you take too long.

This is fake, designed to get you to hurry up and take action. Matt’s not going to turn away anyone who wants to pay money to join MOBE through his affiliate link.

The Testimonials Are Fake

To help entice you to join up, Matt has plastered fake testimonials all over his site and within the sales video. These people are known Fiverr actors, who hire out their freelance services for a fee. Check out enough of these make money online platforms and you’ll start to see the same familiar faces over and over again, whether it’s video actors or stock photos.

Testimonials are a common way to help give something credibility. Unfortunately they’re really easily falsified and slanted in the scheme’s favour with glowing praise and quotes of ridiculously easy money earned.

Target Audience

My Online Business is targeted at people who are likely beginners at making money online. Matt Driscoll, true to MOBE form, tells people what they want to hear so they’ll get super excited and hand their money over. There is plenty of cash to be made online, but it’s not that easy. Not like Matt makes out, working one hour a day and making $10k a day. That’s nothing but a pipedream.

What I Like

  • I can’t really say I like much about what Matt’s offering here with his My Online Business

What I Don’t Like and Red Flags

  • This is just a feeder site for a MOBE affiliate
  • The testimonials are fake
  • Paid actors are used in the video
  • There is no instant $500 just for watching the video
  • Bait and switch tactics have been used to lure people into the MOBE scheme
  • The limited spots available ploy is a lie
  • MOBE is super expensive and extremely risky to get involved in
  • High pressure sales tactics are used by MOBE sales reps once you’re in their 21 Steps program

How Much Does My Online Business Cost?

You pay $97 to join Matt Driscoll in the MOBE scheme. This is your entry level into the platform, after which you will be highly encouraged to go all in and buy every single product that MOBE has. This will cost you tens of thousands of dollars.

Is My Online Business a Scam?

I don’t consider MOBE a total scam, but I will call out Matt Driscoll’s My Online Business as one, because it doesn’t actually offer anything of value. It’s an empty site that serves no other purpose than to feed people into something completely different to what’s advertised. It’s a con job to get you to join MOBE so Matt can earn an affiliate commission.

Why not just be upfront and tell people you want them to join MOBE and why it would be to their benefit?

Maybe because MOBE affiliates don’t really believe in the very product they are promoting.

Give this a miss.

Build a Real Online Business the Way I Did

MOBE is such an expensive platform to get into that it’s not really a viable way to make money online. Plus, the cost adds to the risk factor. While I also do affiliate marketing (much of which MOBE is based on), there are far more profitable and less expensive ways to get started; no matter whether your goal is part-time or fulltime money.

With the right training and a support group of like-minded people behind you, anyone can be successful at affiliate marketing.

If you want to set up your financial future, bringing in multiple sources of both residual income and passive income, then affiliate marketing is the way to go. Another key thing to note is that it costs virtually nothing to get started, and not much to run this kind of online business.

If you would like to give it a go, and it’s well worth doing, then join the training I did. It kicks off with a trial that is completely FREE. You don’t even need to input credit card details to sign up. You can learn more about it by reading my FREE guide, which you can access by clicking on the banner below.
