Is NiceQuest legit or not? It's a question that's been asked many times over, so I decided to have a look at it. It’s yet another paid survey site, but is this one any better than all the others out there and are the rewards worth it? Do they offer anything different?
Let’s take a closer look and find out…

What Is NiceQuest?
Many companies are looking to improve their products and marketing efforts, and often they will gather the necessary information from relevant survey participants. Rather than have to individually seek out people to complete these surveys, they’ll go through a dedicated survey portal that has existing members to be matched up with surveys.
NiceQuest is one of these such websites that match up companies requiring information with people looking to earn some part-time rewards completing surveys and offering their opinion.
Currently the platform has more than 3 million members, so it’s pretty popular.
Doing surveys is okay, but if you are chasing real dollars, then give affiliate marketing a try. Check out the free training over at Wealthy Affiliate. It's the blueprint I followed for success online.
How It Works
NiceQuest is by invitation only. You can’t just go to their website, create an account and start doing surveys. So in order to join you will need to find one of their contests they regularly run on various social media sites. Once you’re invited, it’s important to thoroughly complete your account information.
They use the data to accurately match you up with relevant surveys, so the more information you volunteer, the more surveys you are likely to get.
Rather than simply offering rewards points when you successfully complete surveys, NiceQuest have made it sound a little more interesting by offering the rewards in the form of “shells”. Of course you don’t actually get paid out in shells, but it’s NiceQuest’s form of currency on their site.
Once you collect enough shells, then you can redeem them for either physical products or gift cards.
They also have apps you can download for your smartphone or tablet, rather than having to complete everything via a website.
How Much Can You Earn?
You first have to answer some qualifying questions when you do get sent a survey. Unless you pass these questions, you will be screened out and won’t get to do the actual paid part of the survey. This can be a common gripe with paid surveys, and some companies actually take advantage of these screening question by asking a lot and gathering free information, basically.
But anyway, what can you earn when you do surveys for NiceQuest?
Shells are worth 10 cents each and the minimum “cash out” threshold is $10 or 100 shells. When you make enough in shells, you can actually cash out for physical gifts. Things like the following:
- Phone Cases
- Amazon Gift Cards
- Sporting Gear
- And heaps more…
Most of the gifts are going to require a lot more than 100 shells for redemption, but things like gift cards and phone cases are roughly around the 100 shell mark. All the gifts come with free shipping.
NiceQuest also having monthly sweepstakes draws where you can win more shells.
Anyone who wants to make some extra rewards in their spare time, in this case in the form of physical products or gift cards. It’s not a career move, so just people looking for something extra on the side.
What I Like
- I quite like the physical product redemption idea as it’s a little different to other survey platforms
- NiceQuest still give you some rewards even if screened out of a survey
What I Don’t Like
- You can’t get paid in cash
- The platform is by invitation only
- Some of the products are expensive items, so it will take forever to earn enough rewards to “purchase” them
- The surveys are too few and far between, often only 3 or 4 per month
- It’s easy to get screened out of surveys
- It’s not open to participants worldwide
How Much Does NiceQuest Cost?
It doesn’t cost anything to join NiceQuest, but you do have to get an official invite after completing one of NiceQuest’s social media contests.
Is NiceQuest Legit or a Scam?
It’s not a scam, but it can take a while to earn enough shells to redeem for some of the physical products. Also, it’s quite easy to get screened out of surveys.
Paid surveys really are a low paying way to spend your time online. If the goal is to make actual money, and useful money, then it’s not there to be made with NiceQuest. They don’t pay cash at all, and even if they did, the rate of pay will likely only work out to be a few dollars per hour.
All paid surveys sites are like this. They just don’t pay enough for it to really be worthwhile. I’ve done quite a few surveys over the years on a variety of platforms, but these days I’d much rather focus on something far more lucrative. See below for more info…
Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Instead
I’ve moved on from the peanuts paid by survey companies and these days I make real money online with my affiliate marketing business. My monthly income now is usually more than 5 figures, and much of it comes in rather passively.
I’ve written a post on how this all works, the training I did that led to my success, and I explain how you can get started. It really is worth your while checking it out, as it’s such a simple business and also costs virtually no money to run.
Click the banner below to read my affiliate marketing guide. It only takes a few minutes to read and is worth checking out. The information could be life changing.
