What Is iPoll?
iPoll is yet another online paid surveys site where you can earn small rewards for participating in paid surveys. It used to be known as Survey Head, which started up in 2008. With this platform you can complete surveys from either a computer or a mobile device via their app. The platform is pretty much open to participants from most countries throughout the world.
There are many paid survey platforms and rewards sites on the internet these days. iPoll merely offers another option. Overall the platform looks okay as far as paid surveys go and they do pay out in cash via PayPal.

How It Works
When you join you are instantly rewarded with $5. You will need to complete your profile and answer a series of questions so the platform administrators can better match you up with surveys that are relevant to you.
Once you are in the system iPoll will start sending you surveys when they become available. The average survey takes between 10 to 20 minutes to complete and the rate of pay for each survey tends to vary according to its length.
Sometimes you will be screened out of a survey as being inappropriate to complete it, but you still receive a small reward for your time.
That’s about it for the start up process and what goes on.
When using the mobile app you will sometimes be given other tasks depending on your location at the time. It might involve dropping into a nearby store and answering some questions about it. These tasks generally pay a bit more than the basic surveys.

The Rewards
This is the part everyone wants to know. What kind of money can you earn completing surveys on the iPoll Survey platform?
There are no hard and fast rules regarding how much you will get paid per survey. Some pay more than others regardless of length, but generally a longer survey will pay more than a shorter one.
The average rates are anywhere from $1.50 to $2.50 per survey.
The options for redemption include:
- Cash payment via PayPal
- Amazon or iTunes gift cards
The payment threshold is high, tough. Most survey sites allow you to cash out at the $20 mark. With iPoll you cannot redeem your points for PayPal until you reach $50. For the gift cards the threshold is $15. Payments can take 3-4 weeks to process, so not very fast.
iPoll also conduct a quarterly prize draw for $10,000.
The Downside To Paid Surveys
Paid surveys can be a pretty good way to start earning your first dollars online and give you the confidence to chase bigger and better things. While there is nothing wrong with doing some paid surveys, it’s really not a very profitable exchange of your time for money. The rewards are way too low.
Another thing is the qualifying questions that just about all surveys have. Many times you will be screened out, and sometimes after answering a lot of questions. Fortunately iPoll seem to be aware of this dilemma and do offer some small rewards even if you are screened out.

Is iPoll a Scam?
There’s no scam here. For a time iPoll seemed to be struggling and there were a lot of complaints going around about people losing their rewards points or simply just not getting paid. From all accounts these issues seem to have been addressed and rectified.
As far as survey sites go, this one seem pretty good; especially if you download the app to your smartphone and perform some of the mobile tasks you get offered.
Make Awesome Money With Affiliate Marketing
Surveys are okay, but they really are not worth your valuable time if the plan is to make decent money online. Instead, why not start a simple online business that costs virtually nothing to start and run.
