Intro

Most likely you’ve seen something about Paid Social Media Jobs on social media and want to know more about it and whether it’s worthwhile spending the money to join. It’s always wise to do some research first, so it’s great that you’re here reading this review.

While there are loads of good opportunities to earn money on the internet, there are also a lot of make money scams out there, unfortunately. On my website I do my best to highlight the good stuff as well as expose the bad stuff.

What Is Paid Social Media Jobs?

These days many of us are turning to the internet to either find work, start a business, or just looking for ways to make a little extra cash in our spare time. Coming across something like Paid Social Media Jobs sounds perfect at first glance. After all, many of us spend loads of time on social media anyway, and all for free.

The promise of Paid Social Media Jobs is to find you gigs where companies need people to perform social media tasks, such as posting, liking, or maybe even setting up and running Facebook ad campaigns. They also claim you can make around $700 a week in your spare time doing some of these online jobs.

Keep in mind that the “jobs” posted on Paid Social Media Jobs are not like paid employment. They are freelance gigs, meaning contract work that could be either ongoing or just a one-off assignment.

There’s nothing wrong with that. I do stuff like this quite regularly online.

If you're looking for ways to make some cash online, have you considered affiliate marketing? It's easy to get started when you follow the training at Wealthy Affiliate. Membership is FREE as well.

How It Really Works

This platform actually performs two different services.

On the one hand there is a training program that shows you what you really have to do to be successful in landing these freelance social media gigs.

The second phase of the Paid Social Media Jobs site is the “jobs marketplace”, where “employers” advertise their vacancies.

The difficult part about sites like this one, and other freelancer sites like Upwork and so on, is the competitive nature of how they’re set up. Not only do you have to entice your potential employer with dazzling resumes and experience, you also need to be able to write attention grabbing pitches, and offer quotes that they’ll agree to.

All the while you are competing with every other freelancer submitting applications and quotes for the same job. More times than not, the lowest bid price wins the job, and many people are willing to work for a pittance just to get some paid work.

Content mills like this, as they say, are a race to the bottom when it comes to earning money because of the bidding system.

Who Is This For?

I don’t really think this site is suited to people just looking for a bit of spare change work. These businesses and companies that place ads on Paid Social Media Jobs are looking for trusted experts, people who are really good with social media and can leverage their skills to the advantage of the business they are representing on these social media platforms.

Now, you don’t have to be an expert on all social media. In fact, it’s probably more to your advantage if you are a specialist anyway.

The most common social channels employers need help with are:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • And others…

Some of the tasks might just be simple things like tweeting on Twitter, but other tasks will require more experience and the need to be a specialist. There are people who do social media marketing and management as a fulltime job, and they are professionals, so likely you’ll be competing against a lot of people in that category.

The more simple and easier gigs pay very little. To earn the bigger dollars you really need to be very good at what you do and be able to prove it by both previous results, and the results you get for your new client. If you don’t get the desired results, it’s likely they won’t want to pay you for your effort and time put in.

The Training

There is actually quite a few different training modules on the site. While it’s not super detailed, it does cover a fair bit of ground with some very sound advice and tips to get more work and earn more money.

Much of the training is in video form, so easy to sit back and absorb without having to strain your eyes with endless reading.

Some of what you’ll learn includes:

  • Understanding social media clients
  • How to be a social media manager
  • Introduction to social media management
  • Advanced training
  • Get paid to drive
  • Get paid to read emails
  • Get paid to write
  • And more…

What I Like

  • There is a lot of call for social media management positions these days
  • Some experts in this field can command big dollars if they can get results consistently
  • This website is legit and has been around for a number of years now
  • The training is not too bad

What I Don’t Like

  • This isn’t for the inexperienced part-timer to make some extra cash on the side
  • These businesses are looking for social media experts
  • The simpler tasks don’t pay enough to make then worthwhile
  • You’ll spend loads of time submitting applications for gigs that you will miss out on the majority of the time
  • You need to be able to prove results from past experience to get the better paying gigs
  • In order to make a decent weekly wage you’ll be flat out busy day and night all week

How Much Does Paid Social Media Jobs Cost?

At the moment the website says you can join for half price. Normally $54, but right now just $27.

I’m not too sure about this fee, as most job boards are free, where either the advertiser pays, or the website hosting the jobs board takes a percentage of every paid gig. I guess the main difference with Paid Social Media Jobs is they do provide some training as part of the membership, even if it isn’t that in-depth.

Is Paid Social Media Jobs a Scam?

This isn’t a scam. The site has been around for quite a few years now and is legitimate. I really believe that to do well on a site like this, and make some decent money, then you really need to be an experienced social media manager. There are gigs for the part-timers and the less experienced, but as mentioned earlier, they really don’t pay very much.

If you have experience in social media, believe you can get results, and can at least prove to potential employers that you have achieved some good results in the past with either your own social accounts, or those you’ve helped others with, then you might have a chance of landing some decent paying gigs on Paid Social Media Jobs.

There Is Real Money To Be Made Online – I Do It

There are real paid social media jobs, often advertised on free online job boards, and there’s nothing wrong with doing these gigs. But one of the very best ways I’ve discovered over the years to make some really good money online – either part-time or fulltime – is to do affiliate marketing.

It costs practically nothing to get started, an affiliate marketing business is cheap to run, it’s very simple to do (but does take work and patience), and can also lead to lots of passive income, where the work you do now continues to make money well into the future.

What this all adds up to is a much better quality of life. No more working for a boss or commute to work, set your own schedule, create multiple income streams, travel whenever you like and basically just enjoy more time and money freedom.

The best way to get started is with some quality training, so I recommend doing the training I did as I already knows it works. It starts with a completely FREE trial so you can check it all out with no risk whatsoever.

In actual fact, I’ve written a FREE guide to help you get started and you can read it by clicking on the banner below.

You’ll also find a more detailed explanation of how affiliate marketing works inside my guide, along with the highlights of having an online business at home. My guide also tells you more about the training I recommend and how it will benefit you enormously. After all, that training led to my own success.

5 minutes of your time is all it will take to read through the guide, so it’s well worth taking a look at.
