Intro
Likely you’ve been asked by someone to take a look at Power Lead System, or you’ve heard about it through an email or seen it on social media. It’s a good thing that you’re here reading this review, as it means you are willing to do your homework on something before joining. That’s a wise way to be with all the make money online (MMO) scams out there.
On my website I do my best to bring attention to the good opportunities online, as well as exposing any scams I come across, and programs that just aren’t worth your time or money.
What Is Power Lead System?
Power Lead System has been around since 2013, so not some churn and burn scheme that disappears after a few months, never to be seen or heard of again. That means it’s outlasted many MMO products that I’ve reviewed on my site.
It’s always been promoted as a “done for your system” and “business in a box”. Power Lead System also has an active affiliate program, so one of the main drives is to make money by promoting PLS to others.
It’s essentially all about providing online marketers with various tools to help find and capture leads, and capitalise on those leads, turning them into revenue.
Power Lead System Tools – “Business In a Box”
They like to call their set of marketing tools a business in a box, meaning it’s a system that’s basically done for you, so all you have to do to generate more business leads is plug it all together and away you go.
Just some of what you get here are the following:
- An autoresponder
- Landing pages
- Create videos & audio podcasts
- Google hangouts
- Sales funnels
- Webinars
- Squeeze pages
- Training
Apart from promoting Power Lead System, it’s products and the business opportunity, you can use the tools either to help with your Power Lead System promotion, or another online business you run.
So unless you already have a business, or plan to promote PLS as an affiliate, these tools will not do you much good.
Anyway, the tools are only part of the deal. The real thrust behind Power Lead System is the business opportunity – Making money promoting it as an affiliate.
The Compensation Plan
PLS actually has a pretty decent compensation plan, and I dare say many members are making some really good money with it.
To help you learn how to effectively promote Power Lead System, there are a series of rather long training videos that take you through the process. It’s not a step by step guide, though, and the average length of each video is a massive one hour long.
It’s really geared towards people who already have some experience with online marketing or affiliate marketing.
Basically you buy into PLS and then try and sell the same system to others. It’s all about recruiting new members. For every new paying member you get on board, you’ll earn a recurring affiliate commission. You can also build downlines as this is a multi level marketing (MLM) opportunity, and earn smaller commissions on the people your direct recruits bring in.
As an affiliate you make $20 for every second sale you make, not every sale. That’s how they are able to keep paying you commissions from recruits brought in by your referrals.

Is Power Lead System An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
In a way this one is a little borderline, but it does have some token products, even though the majority of the emphasis seems to be on recruiting others into PLS. To be considered an illegal pyramid scheme, Power Lead System would have to rely solely on recruitment and have no products of real value.
Target Audience
I can’t really see this targeting people who are new to online business or don’t at least have some sort of online business already. Not if the plan is to actually use the tools. I guess the business opportunity could target newcomers, but even that would work far better for someone experienced. There just isn’t enough in the way of logical training here to train someone new, how to successfully market this system.
What I Like
- This might be okay for people who already have an online business and some marketing experience
- There is a good chance of earning recurring commissions with this, which are the best kind of income
- The company has been going strong since 2013
What I Don’t Like
- The training is long-winded and doesn’t happen in a logical sequence to help a beginner
- You have to pay to be an affiliate, which I don’t agree with
- This platform is more about recruiting others into the platform, rather than selling products and useful tools
- The tools are okay, but there are better out there
- There is a lot of hype attached to PLS, and making $500 a day like they claim will be a tough ask for most people
- You need to be really good at recruiting to make this system work in your favour
How Much Does Power Lead System Cost?
To simply be a member of Power Lead System and use the tools they have, you need to pay $30 a month every month, which is actually fairly expensive for what they’re offering. They do have a 7 day free trial at the moment, though.
To be eligible as an affiliate so you can earn commissions by promoting PLS, you are required to fork out a further $24 a month on top of the $30, so a total of $54 per month to be an affiliate of Power Lead System.
Is Power Lead System a Scam?
This isn’t a scam, but there are a lot better systems out there, that include much better training, better affiliate programs, have more tools, and actually cost less. PLS is “not bad”, but it’s not great either, and not really suitable for beginners in my opinion.
If you have some experience, think you can recruit, and might make use of the available tools, then it might be worth a try, but I don’t whole-heartedly recommend it.
There Is Real Money To Be Made Online – I Do It
There are numerous ways to make money online, and the one that’s worked the best for me is affiliate marketing, but with a much broader scope than what’s available with Power Lead System. As an affiliate marketer you should be free to choose any niche you like and promote any product you want, and not have to pay to be an affiliate.
One of the great things about an affiliate marketing business is it costs so little to do. Anyone can do this and do it successfully with the right training to show them how. Whether you just want to make a little extra money or replace your day job, you can do it with this business.
If you want to do something online that I know works, then follow in my footsteps and do the training I did. There’s no reason why it won’t work for you and give you the lifestyle freedom that I now enjoy.
