What Is “Coffee Shop Millionaire”?
Coffee Shop Millionaire (or CSM) was started by a guy named Anthony Trister. Reportedly he has made millions in the online world. The program has been around for a few years now, which lends it some degree of legitimacy at least.
When you arrive at the main sales page of the website it’s a typical one, with nothing but a sales video to watch. And this video is just like many others you’ve no doubt seen, where the dude talks a lot, but never really tells you much about what’s on offer.
I think the name of the system is a bit deceptive, as it takes a lot of work (and probably a good dose of luck too) to be able to generate over a million dollars from any sort of enterprise. Sure it can be done, but is CSM the way to do it?
CSM is an internet course that teaches you how to make money through local marketing and internet marketing. With CSM you will learn things like SEO, video marketing, email marketing and outsourcing.
IM is one of the most common ways people make money online and it is also subjected to being the target for many scammers out there for that reason. There is plenty of legit training out there to learn IM; some very good and some not so good. Not all are scams, but be wary when checking them out and do your research.
If you really want to learn how to make money online from a system that’s 100% legit, with great training and FREE to get started, then just go where I went to learn.
What’s The Target Audience?
Well, virtually anyone who wants to make money on the internet in one form or another. Experienced marketers probably wouldn’t be too interested in CSM, but certainly beginners and intermediates may find it appealing.

The Pros
- Relatively cheap to get started
- Lots of training
- They are open in disclosing the real money making potential of their system
- The owner is a very experienced marketer
The Cons
- The website doesn’t tell you much when you arrive, other than a sales video
- Earning over a million dollars from IM takes a lot of time and hard work
- Promotes a “get rich quick” mentality.
- Too many upsells
- The sales pitch fails to really tell you anything useful about CSM
- Sales video rambles on and on and on
- No active community to engage with, ask questions of and get help
- No free trial
Tools, Training and Support
CSM is comprised of 12 training modules. The modules are made up of text and video, and you can work at you own pace and go back and review each module as often as you like. The training is step by step and relatively easy to follow.
He’s designed his program for beginning marketers in mind, as well as offering something for those with more experience, although some of the training and the way it’s put forth is a little advanced for beginning marketers to understand or fully grasp.
As I mentioned above there is no community of members to interact with, which is really important; and something I love about my #1 training recommendation. It’s important to be able to get help and encouragement (or just talk to) other like-minded members who are trying to learn and achieve the same things.

But what about support? Does Anthony offer any support for Coffee Shop Millionaire?
There is standard customer support via phone and email, and their Facebook page, but there are many complaints and issues that go unanswered. The member community seems inactive, if not deceased, and you are more likely to get answers to your questions asking a cadaver than posting in the CSM forums.
How Much Does “Coffee Shop Millionaire” Cost?
Here’s the rub, and something that often puts people off programs like this one. It costs $37 per month initially, but you will get hit up with upsells. The training and support you receive for your $37/month is rather limited.
In order to access the juicier stuff you will be asked to upgrade to the “Six Figure Success Club”, setting you back a further $297. You also need to buy a domain name for your website, and organise your own hosting package.
So as you can see, the price is climbing.
Is The “Coffee Shop Millionaire” A Scam?
Is CSM a scam? I don’t think so.
Is it good value for money? The answer to that is subjective, but I don’t really think it’s very good value; not when you stack it up against other training out there which is both better and cheaper.

This is an interesting read, because the fact is, like you, I liked the name Coffee Shop Millionaire and almost joined them but I decided to read some reviews do some research and in the process of doing that I found Wealthy Affiliate and the rest (as they say) is now history. Suffice to say I didn’t join CSM but joined WA instead and am pleased I did. Thank you for great write up and also for pointing your readers to a better alternative (WA) and in so doing helping them to succeed in their quest in building a scam free successful online business 🙂

Well I like the way it is relatively low priced to get started with but it does seem as though it’s directed towards the newcomer to online marketing. I had a closer look at the product (as it seems pretty interesting) and it also has a few holes in the training – as you say it sort of goes for the get rich quick route…which always leads to missed training!
Yes it is promoted with the get rich quick mentality. Interesting concept and I like the name of the business, but not really for me, I’m afraid.
