The Talk Fusion company was founded by current CEO Bob Reina, who has over 20 years experience in the marketing industry.
Talk Fusion operates in the communications industry and they have chosen the MLM formula to distribute their products and services. Essentially they focus on digital products for online businesses, with video being the main tool of choice.
They have devised ways for businesses to stay connected to their customers online, improving relationships and increasing company ROI.

I won’t go deep into the products as this review is more focused on the business opportunity attached to Talk Fusion and whether it can make you any decent money, but we’ll take a quick glance at what’s on offer in the Talk Fusion product range.

The company has three different packages:

As mentioned, the focus here is using video to its full advantage to really connect with your customers and leads. The company also takes advantage of platforms such as YouTube to help you spread your business message.
The MLM Business Opportunity
What’s on offer here is your typical MLM set up. Instead of a company like Talk Fusion paying out massive dollars in wages and advertising, they’ve chosen the network marketing approach to distribute their product suite.
What this means is that Talk Fusion save bucket loads of cash by assembling what is basically a free workforce, where everyone involved is like a sales rep with no retainer or wages and works in the hope of earning commissions and bonuses.
The distributors do all the work, buy and sell the products, spread the word about the company and grow the company through constant recruitment. They are forced to recruit new people to have a chance of making any real worthwhile income. That’s how multi level marketing works.
All the advantages are with the company running the show, and that’s why so many go the MLM route.

All multi level marketing plans are set up in such a way that people are forced to recruit others into the business to have a real chance of making money.
There is generally not much scope for making a decent income just selling the products at a retail level. The real money is in recruiting and earning from your downlines.
Why do MLM companies place so much emphasis on recruitment?
Because it quickly expands their business and often their customer base is expanded at the same time. Many MLM companies make their distributors pay for products rather than just selling at a retail level, so the more expansion that takes place, the more workers they have and the more “customers” they can sell to.

Is Talk Fusion An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
An illegal pyramid scheme is a system that revolves entirely around recruitment, where new money needs to be brought in to pay the profits of previous investors. An illegal system has no products of any value.
Talk Fusion has products, so while it may operate on a pyramid compensation structure with a heavy focus on recruiting, it avoids the illegal naked pyramid tag.
Target Audience
It helps if you love and believe in the products if you are going to join any sort of MLM business venture. Many multitudes are attracted to MLM because they think they are getting a business that’s all ready to roll. Yes, things are set up, but you never own your own business with any MLM company. You’re just a rep.
What I Like
- At least this company is not selling health and wellness products like so many other MLM businesses do these days
- Bob Reina is an experienced leader and highly respected in the marketing world
- The products are not bad
What I Don’t Like
- Some of these products you can source for a lot cheaper, or even free, elsewhere on the internet
- MLM is an extraordinarily difficult path to make decent money
- In 2016, around 69% of Talk Fusion associates (distributors) made zero dollars for the entire year
- 95% of people who try MLM fail at it
- The focus is all on recruiting, and if you can’t do that on an ongoing basis, you won’t make any decent money with this
How Much Does Talk Fusion Cost?
Well, it’s not cheap. This company charge you a monthly fee to be an associate, as well as require you to purchase at least one of their Business Builder Packages.
The monthly fee is $35 every single month. Now here’s the prices of the packages:

- Business Builder Package 2 – $250
- Business Builder Package 3 – $750
- Business Builder Package 4 – $1500
Is Talk Fusion a Scam?
No, it’s not a scam at all. It’s typical MLM, with rather expensive products and a very complex, 22 page compensation plan. You could make money with this one if you believe in the products and also believe you can recruit enough people on an ongoing basis to make it worth your while.

Forget MLM – Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Instead
Affiliate marketing is what I focus on these days after trying multiple MLM deals in the past, and I can tell you that affiliate marketing is a way easier method of generating an income than multi level marketing.
There’s no recruiting, no buying or selling expensive, over-priced products, and you do actually run your own business with affiliate marketing and call the shots.
Much of everything is still all ready to go for you, as you are promoting the products of other companies as an online rep and receiving commissions when someone buys a product or service through your recommendation.
It takes work to get to a point where it’s nice and profitable, but you will get there more quickly if you are shown what to do. It’s also a really, really simple business model and cheap to do.

Unfortunately most MLM deals are designed to completely favour the company and not their workforce. That’s why companies go the MLM route, because of all the advantages to them. Yet, thousands of people still get excited about joining these deals, which I’ve never really understood, because there are so many other things they can be doing which are far simpler and more profitable.
