Intro
It’s always a wise idea to do your research before joining any platform that promises to help you make money online. While there are many legitimate opportunities out there, the internet is also loaded with scams, unfortunately – especially in the make money online (MMO) marketplace. I try to pinpoint both the worthwhile platforms and the scams on this website.
What Is The Banger Method?
Online entrepreneurs Brendan Mace, Mark Hess and Michael Thomas bring us The Banger Method, a system that can allegedly make us $372 per hour online. And that’s with just 30 minutes work a day.
Sounds like a get rich quick scheme, so a red flag waving about right from the very beginning.
I guess the idea is to make money with a bang (or go out with a bang).
To make the promised $372 an hour (odd figure, by the way), all you have to do is adopt their methods and rinse and repeat.
Apparently this system is:
- 100% proven to work
- 100% friendly to newbies
- Takes a mere 25 minutes to set up
- No skills or experience required
- And so on…
It’s all about affiliate marketing, which involves promoting the products and services of other companies and retailers and earning commissions when someone buys through your unique affiliate link.
I do affiliate marketing for a living, and it’s a genuine online business model, however I also know it’s not as easy as these guys are making out, so let’s dig a little deeper into what’s on offer with The Banger Method.
How It Works
The idea behind this scheme is to train existing affiliate marketers in how they can get a better conversion rate. The Banger Method team recommend using free bonuses to encourage buyers and sign ups, adding another incentive layer to the original offer.
Makes sense.
“Affiliate marketing with a twist” is how the team at The Banger Method describe their idea.
They claim one of the main challenges faced my most affiliate marketers is competition from other affiliates promoting the same product, or people just buying direct from the retailer or company and totally bypassing your affiliate link all together.
This is all true, of course, and they are not providing us with some ground-breaking insight here, but they do offer a solution to this dilemma.
Like I said, they recommend adding further incentive for people to buy through you by offering a free bonus of some kind that they can’t get anywhere else. In other words, build sales pages with bonuses built into the offer.
This is a common sales ploy that you see everywhere, both online and in offline retail stores. People do it because it gets results. Everyone likes to feel like they’re getting a good deal or something for free. People also love to feel like they are getting special, VIP treatment.
What kind of bonuses you want to offer is up to you, but digital products work the best because you don’t have to spend money on physical items or post them. Some examples of digital bonuses could be things like:
- A cheat sheet
- An eBook
- Infographics
- Software
- PLR products
To name just a few.

Target Audience
The Banger Method is not really targeting affiliate marketing beginners, because the whole concept is built around someone who is already getting traffic to existing affiliate offers and wants to increase their conversion rate. Unfortunately in their sales pitch they are targeting newbies, but in reality their system does not suit someone who is just starting out.
What I Like

- Some fairly decent training on getting conversions
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- They target most of their pitch at newcomers, when in reality you already need to be somewhat established before you can adopt their bonus methods
- There are a lot of testimonials on their website from people allegedly making massive dollars using The Banger Method that sound very unbelievable
- There is far too much hype and not enough substance here
- The claim of $372 an hour (wherever they plucked that figure from) is grossly over-stated, and you won’t make that working only 30 minutes a day
- They claim they are offering a brand new method, when offering bonuses has been around as long as sales has
- The Banger Method team also state newbies will be making money quickly, when it takes a lot of time to get going when you’re just starting out
- There are reports that support on the platform is extremely limited
- Once you join at their discounted price, you will be hit with upsells – Just check their sales page to see what they are and how many
- No affiliate marketing training
How Much Does The Banger Method Cost?
The regular asking price to join The Banger Method is $97, but at the time of this writing that price has been discounted to $13.17. Once you join the platform you will be hit with a series of more expensive upsells. The Banger Method membership is just the entry point into a sales funnel.

Is The Banger Method a Scam?
This isn’t a scam, and I would have rated it more highly if they didn’t majorly over-hype everything and claim their product is both new and beginner friendly. It’s neither of those two things. What they are offering is “not bad” for someone who is already somewhat established in the world of affiliate marketing and is already getting traffic to their offers, but just want higher conversion rates.
The Banger Method is also about making money as an affiliate selling The Banger Method. That’s a part of what they do teach. What they fail to tell beginners though, is that it takes time to get traffic to your affiliate offers, unless you want to spend big bucks on paid advertising (not advisable when just starting out with no experience).
This might be worth a look for someone more established who wants better conversions, but in my opinion it’s over-hyped and under-delivers.

Affiliate marketing is a fantastic business model that anyone can do online and be successful with. You just need to be keen, persistent, have a desire to improve your lifestyle, and seek out some decent training that shows you how to start your affiliate marketing business from scratch.
The training will save you a lot of time and headaches, so don’t try and go it alone. You will make money much sooner if you are properly trained.
The Banger Method training is useful if you’ve already got your business established, but to get started in affiliate marketing, I recommend doing the training at Wealthy Affiliate.
