What Is “High Ticket Cash Machines”?

“The Simple Affiliate Marketing Secret That Has Deliberately Been Left Off Every Course You've Ever Bought…”

what-is-high-ticket-cash-machines-and-will-it-make-you-richClaims like the one above, taken from the High Ticket Cash Machines website, immediately make me a little suspicious.

Having spent years in the IM niche I find it hard to believe that anyone involved in online marketing has a secret anything, as it’s a highly marketed and saturated niche. Many companies peddling money making programs claim they have a secret formula, secret algorithm, secret information etc…etc.

What High Ticket Cash Machines claim as their secret is the fact that most affiliate marketers – and this is all about affiliate marketing – only try to promote small ticket items under $100 instead of targeting products that carry a much higher price tag and, therefore, a higher commission per sale.

This is the main focus of this program, to teach budding marketers that it takes just as much effort, if not more, to promote cheaper products as it does to promote products that are more expensive. And there is definitely truth in this and what is taught here. Many marketers believe that is far easier to sell something for $50 than it is to make sales for products that are $500.

In some cases this is true, but plenty of people the world over are also looking for products with a higher price tag. Many products just can’t be sold more cheaply. Someone who is planning on buying a laptop, for example, isn’t going to expect to get a new one under 100 bucks. They are expecting to pay more.

What High Ticket Cash Machines teaches is debunking the myth that marketers need to promote cheap products in order to make money from affiliate marketing.

Who Is The Target Audience?

This program is really aimed at anyone in the IM niche, beginner or otherwise. Making more money as an affiliate is in every marketer’s interest. So, this is definitely not just aimed at novices. Far from it.

The Pros

  • Quite cheap to try out the training.
  • Not bad training that shows you both how and why to target high ticket items as an affiliate.
  • The training is presented in easy-to-comprehend video format.
  • I like the case studies they have included.

The Cons

  • Lots of upsells. When you get access to their website it looks like there is all this training on offer, but when you click on the training tabs you are prompted to buy into that level of training. This is after paying to become a member.
  • The owners make too many unfounded claims of big dollars to be made if you follow their system. Nothing like that can be guaranteed.
  • There is no training on creating an affiliate marketing website, which is really a must have in this business.
  • Support is sadly rather lacking with this product.
  • If you want a refund you first have to somehow prove that you applied everything you learned with High Ticket Cash Machines and it didn’t work. I’m not too sure exactly how one would prove this without a doubt.
  • Lack of training in affiliate marketing basics, which every marketer really needs to learn to be successful.

Tools and Training

For your initial membership fee you get access to three training modules:

  1. Choosing an offer to promote
  2. Lead capture
  3. Keyword research and getting traffic

The first module teaches you how to find viable high ticket items to promote and offers tips on joining affiliate programs so you can market these products. This training module is comprised of 3 videos to show you how to go about this.

Module 2 is also three videos and shows you how to create a landing page that converts to capture leads and build an email list. Creating opt in forms and PPC advertising are also covered so you can drive relevant traffic to your landing page.

In the third module you are presented with a lot more training material, also in the form of video presentations. There is some good stuff in this phase; including things like competitor analysis, keyword research, SEO tactics, article marketing and how to drive traffic to your landing page through PPC advertising via Google, Bing and Facebook.

Users will also gain access to some cool case studies that illustrate how putting what is learned into practice achieves certain results.

Anything else they offer that you want to learn, you will have to pay more for it to gain access.

How Much Does “High Ticket Cash Machines” Cost to Join?

At the moment it’s offered at $19.95, but sometimes this starting price varies and can jump up into the 20s and 30s, depending on what sort of promotion they are running at the time.

Once inside High Ticket Cash Machines as a paying member you are greeted with upsells to more training products. I’m not a fan of constant upsells. I expect to get maybe one, but no more than that. Once I’ve paid to be a member of a program where I’m expecting to learn what’s promised, I’m figuring I’ve already paid for that privilege and therefore won’t need to shell out more money to access training I though I was already going to receive.

Is “High Ticket Cash Machine” A Scam?

high-ticket-cash-machinesNo, there is no scam here. While the High Ticket Cash Machines teaches a very handy concept – chasing bigger dollar products and promoting those for higher commissions – the program overall really lacks any solid basis in affiliate marketing training. Sure, you can bypass having a good website filled with quality content and just go the one page website, feeding it traffic through paid advertising, but this is really more of an add on to affiliate marketing structure, not the be all and end all of it. Plus, you need a decent advertising budget to try this approach without any guarantee that you will make any money back.

At least when you have your own website you can first try promoting these high ticket items and generate free organic traffic to your promotions. This way, if they start to convert, then you can scale it up with some more aggressive paid advertising campaigns, having confidence that people do actually want to buy whatever it is you are peddling.

My final thoughts are this: High Ticket Cash Machines might be useful to someone who already has a solid grounding and foundation built in affiliate marketing. To me it is more of an additional resource rather than the main business tactic.

Learn affiliate marketing the right way first, then perhaps give High Ticket Cash Machines a try. But really, once you learn affiliate marketing basics, you can target companies paying high commissions for more expensive products and use what you learn below to generate sales of these items. You don’t really need High Ticket Cash Machines at all to achieve this.

  1. Hi Darren! When I read this article and see you on the one hand not judge it as Scam but on the other hand not related to the product.
So do I really little doubt about what you really think about it. I myself have a website I’m working on and also added some affiliate products to it.
But I also know that it is not just to create a landing page and then generating purchased traffic to it.
It can get quite expensive if you do not know what you’re doing.
So my question is, what will it cost to learn it. With this cours?
    Steen

    • Which course? Wealthy Affiliate or High Ticket Cash System? The latter will cost you about $20 to join and do the training on offer for that amount. Wealthy Affiliate is free to join, but will cost $49 a month ($19 special price the first month) to do all the training. If you get through it quickly and then quit Wealthy Affiliate after finishing the training, it might only take you a month or two. My recommendation is to do the Wealthy Affiliate training.
