What Is 18 Minutes and How Does it Work?

So what the maker of this platform is stating is that we can be making money within 18 minutes. Sounds good, but is it for real?

If you don’t know what binary options trading is, it’s basically a very simplified version of trading stocks, commodities and currencies. It’s so simplified in fact that it’s like flipping a coin and choosing heads or tails. You are basically placing a bet on which direction a particular stock is going to go and win if you get it right.

This simplified system has led to a whole suite of trading platforms coming out of the woodwork, claiming they have some awesome auto-bot that can accurately predict these 50/50 bets and make you money hand over fist.

Forex trading and stock market trading are very credible (although very risky) ways of making money. However, the binary options trading method has led to a massive increase in online money making scams targeted at this very trading method. So many platforms are materialising every day claiming they’ve created automated software that can read the signals and make you a bucket load of cold, hard cash.

Markets are highly volatile and even the most experienced trader cannot always predict which way the pendulum is going to swing, so software being able to do so is even more impossible, not matter how good its programming may be. Placing winning trades isn’t all about reading the signals. Sometimes it’s about instinct, a gut feeling based on experience, and that’s something that can’t be programmed into software.

Systems like 18 Minutes base everything around the marketing hype of making very quick cash and in big lump sums. All these platforms want is your money. They know their bot systems are worthless, but hook enough people in with the promise of riches, and the creators of these platforms make a financial killing.

18 Minutes Is a Scam

Binary options scams – and I’ve reviewed a number of them on this site – love hiring actors from sites like Fiverr and other freelancing sites, handing the actor a script to read from to give their platform an awesome review, pretending they’ve actually used it and made heaps of money as a result.

In the videos for 18 Minutes they love pushing the luxury lifestyle onto us, with images of fast exotic cars, yachts, massive mansions and decadent lifestyles. Of course many of us dream of these luxuries and even aspire to them, but I sincerely doubt that anyone but the owner of products like 18 Minutes has managed to achieve this kind of wealth by simply using some dodgy binary options trading robot.

The idea is to suck people in with images of the dream and then lighten their wallets and keep doing so for as long as people remain in the 18 Minutes system.

These binary options scammers not only sell you a subscription to their trading robot software, they also team you up with one of their brokers to handle your money and transactions. These people are all in the scam together, and they get paid whether you win or lose on your trades.

As with all these trading platforms, they love to talk the hype, show extravagant lifestyles and bandy impressive figures about, but they never really demonstrate anything tangible to back up their mega claims.

The concept behind these platforms is that they are designed to be a push button system. You join the platform, transfer money to your broker, get access to the bot software, press a button and tell it to go to work making you money. The thing is, if this robot software was so accurate and successful, why would these people try to get us on board and literally hound us to sign up and spend our money?

That’s the million dollar question.

Target Audience

They definitely target those people seeking the fantasy of some push button magic money system that will virtually make them rich overnight. News flash. That doesn’t exist. At the risk of sounding like a naysayer, the old cliché of if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is, is definitely appropriate in the world of making money on the internet, and particularly with binary options trading.

What I Like

  • There’s not really anything about 18 Minutes that I could say I liked, other than the imagery of decadent lifestyles

What I Don’t Like

  • The videos and sales page are just full of hype and nothing more
  • The internet has become a hotbed of binary options trading platform scams in recent years
  • A robot can’t accurately predict which way a market will turn
  • Software has no trading experience or instincts
  • The brokers and the makers of these platforms are all in bed together and make money whether you win or lose, so they don’t care
  • There’s no way to know that the signals the platform is receiving and acting on are even accurate
  • They claim the success rate is over 90%, but yet I can’t locate anyone who can honestly back up this claim

How To Get Rich Online

How Much Does 18 Minutes Cost To Join?

They say it’s free to join, but that’s not entirely true. You usually need to deposit a minimum of $250 to get started trading. Likely your robot software will lose this very quickly, then the broker’s telemarketers will be calling you daily, urging you to keep going and deposit more money, likely in the thousands, to cover your losses and give yourself a better chance of coming out on top. If the success rate of the software was truly over 90%, then $250 should easily be enough to start making a profit with, increasing the bankroll as more wins come in.

Is 18 Minutes a Scam?

All of these binary options magic robots are scams in my opinion, and the opinion of many thousands of others out there. They hype it all up just to suck people in and get them to hand over their money. If this autopilot software was so accurate, everyone on the planet would be trading binary options with these platforms. Sure, you can make some money. It’s not impossible. But you would likely have a far better chance of success if you learnt the markets and did the trading yourself.

Schemes like this one are a lot like gambling, so you might have better luck with this lotto system.

A Better Way To Make Money On the Internet

I prefer to make money online in a way that is not like gambling. For starters, trading options can get very stressful and it’s not really a long-term wealth building strategy, as your money can go downhill very quickly.

I do affiliate marketing online and it’s one of my main sources of income these days. If you’re interested in giving it a try and would like to learn more about it, just click on the banner below. It’s easy to get started. No gambling required.
