What Is Clixten and How Does It Work?
Clixten is another PTC (paid to click) type website where members get paid small amounts to click on ads on the platform. You can also earn some small rewards for completing offers on the Clixten website. Additionally there is a grid game you can play for a chance to win money.
When you click on an ad, you need to watch it for a set period of time to earn the reward. You can earn anywhere from $0.0001 to $0.01 per ad watched. Yes, you read that right. Watching some ads only pays 1/100th of a cent for your time.
Wow, blow me away with that kind of cash. At the lowest rate you would need to sit through 100 ads just to earn one cent. F**k that!
Advertisers pay Clixten money to advertise on the site (a lot more than Clixten pay you for watching ads), in the hope to generate traffic to their websites and product offers. I really can’t see how this platform would be worthwhile from an advertiser’s POV, as people are only clicking on ads to try and earn money, not because they’re actually interested in what’s on offer.
There are actually membership levels in Clixten. The first level is free, but you need to pay to go up the levels. The higher the level, the more you earn.
Here’s what each membership level costs:
- Standard = Free
- Silver = $20 per year
- Golden = $80 per year
- Elite = $500 per year
- Ultimate = $800 per year
So once you get above Standard and Silver, this platform – which pays a pittance no matter what level you’re on – starts to get really pricey.
Just looks like a money grab at every opportunity to me.

Referring Others To Clixten
There’s really not much money at all to be made by viewing ads at the rates Clixten pay. However, they do have an affiliate program where you can earn some extra coin by referring others to the platform.
Again, if you are only on a low Clixten membership yourself, then you’re not going to make much money on your referrals either. So, once again Clixten basically force people to pay expensive yearly memberships in order to have a chance of making any reasonable cash.
In my opinion this whole website is a money rort. They are supposed to be paying members for performing certain tasks, and instead they are actually charging these members for the right to click on ads for pennies.
What an absolute joke. How is this dodgy company even in business and why does anyone bother to deal with them?
Look, possibly you could make some sort of money referring others, but you would have to spend copious amounts of time and put in very hard yards to get enough referrals into this gig to make it even remotely worth your while.
Referring people to Clixten is a form of affiliate marketing, but hardly very lucrative. Check out what's on offer over at Wealthy Affiliate if you want to cash in big time with affiliate marketing. It's how I make more than a fulltime income online.
Target Audience
People who obviously have absolutely no value on their time and have nothing better to do in life. Clixten is not even worth the time it takes to peruse the site, let along paying money to get involved.
What I Like
- Nothing at all. The entire site is just a rip off!
What I Don’t Like
- They start out paying 1/100th of a cent for watching ads
- They charge high prices for yearly memberships just so you have a faint hope of making some money (minus the membership fee)
- Clixten is making money from everyone at every turn
- Clixten charge advertisers to advertise on the site and also charge their members to have the privilege of clicking on those ads
- This entire website is nothing more than a money grab
- Even the referral program is so not worth your time
- Everything about Clixten is a joke
How Much Does Clixten Cost?
Well, it’s free for the Standard membership, but that’s a complete waste of time if you want to make money clicking ads or from your referrals. The other option is paying for higher membership levels to earn more, but when you factor in the price of the membership against the increase in earnings, it’s still not worth it.
Is Clixten a Scam?
Seriously, do not waste one second of your precious time on this good for nothing Clixten platform. All they want to do is take money from people. There’s no way you can earn any decent money with the way Clixten has things set up.
I’ve never seen earnings so low and memberships so high. There shouldn’t even be membership levels on a site like this. That’s like charging people a fee to watch ads on TV, or to join paid survey sites.
What a joke. 0 out of 10 for Clixten!
Make REAL Money Online
Make better use of your valuable time. If you want to earn money online, there are much better ways. You can earn bucket loads more and pay out a lot less than what you will do with Clixten.
