Intro
The internet is filled with opportunities to make money, and there are some great platforms out there that help you achieve that goal. Unfortunately, there are also lots of scams and products that simply don’t work. This website of mine is designed to highlight the good opportunities, as well as exposing the scams and platforms that are a waste of time and money.
What Is Computer Experts Online?
When I first saw the name of this site – Computer Experts Online – my first thought was that it was a website where you could get help with computer issues, when in fact it’s a make money online (MMO) opportunity.
This scheme promises you’ll be making $379 a day posting links on the internet. To earn this kind of easy and awesome money, all you are required to do is work for one hour per day. Yep, just one hour.
Sounds like a dream come true, doesn’t it?
I mean, even a monkey could probably spend an hour posting links online. Therefore, anyone could do this and earn around $10k per month for about 30 hours work total.
It’s all just a fantasy, though. This online gig doesn’t really exist, and I’ll explain why.
Same Scam Again and Again
Look, I’ve come across this exact same scam time and time again. In fact, I’ve written at least 20 reviews of similar platforms that all promote the same thing, just with a different site name. Now I don’t know if the same person is behind every one of these sites, or whether people are copying each other, but they are the exact same scam.
New versions of this scam seem to be popping up all over the place like poisonous mushrooms. Below are just a few examples of similar scams I’ve reviewed recently:

Computer Experts Online Was Never Featured On News Networks
There is one thing that all of these sites have in common. On the header next to the site name they will have the logos of famous news channels. In their videos and on their website they’ll claim that their awesome online opportunity is so good that it’s been featured on these TV channels.
This is all just a hoax to gain credibility. The reason they do this is so people will trust them and hand their money over.
Some of the popular channels they always quote are:
- Fox News
- ABC
- CNN
- And more
This is all totally fake. This scam has never been endorsed by these channels and never will be. It’s just a hoax, so take no notice of it.
More Aliases Than Jason Bourne
The owner of this website is apparently a woman named Karen Johnson, who presents us with a hard luck story where she goes from rags to riches once she happened across the Computer Experts Online money making system.
This is the first time I’ve seen Karen’s name attached to one of these scams. Sometimes they come up with a brand new alias to mix things up, but often they’ll repeat the same names.
Below are some of the more common aliases these scammers use:
- Kelly Simmons
- Emily Hudson
- Jessica Marshall
- Cami White
- Karen Evans
“Limited Spots Available” – Nope, Not True
A common method both legit businesses and scams use to get people to act is to adopt the scarcity tactic. There will either be a limited time to take action, or the threat of missing out on such a great deal because spots are limited.
In the case of Computer Experts Online, they use the limited positions available ploy, which simply is not true.
These people want your money, so there’s no way known they’ll turn anyone away who is willing to hand over their cash and join.
They just want you to act quickly so you won’t do your research and realise it’s all a con job.
Ignore this BS. It’s all fake.
The “Job”
On almost every occasion that I’ve come across a website by these people, they use the easy and lucrative “link posting” job as the drawcard. They make out like they have this limited position online job available where members can get paid $15 for every affiliate link they randomly post and spam all over the internet.
This is a form of affiliate marketing, but no company pays any affiliate $15 just to post links somewhere. I do affiliate marketing for a living and it doesn’t work that way. For starters, you can’t become an affiliate of these companies through this scam site. You have to apply with them personally and get approved. Second, they only pay commissions if a customer makes a purchase via an affiliate promotion. They definitely don’t pay anyone just to spam links. Why would they?
The link posting job is as fake as everything else about this website.
This Is Likely Promoting Other High Ticket Programs
On some of their other websites these people are trying to funnel members into a different high ticket program. One of those programs is called MOBE.
Now I don’t know for sure that Computer Experts Online is funnelling people into MOBE, but based on their previous track record, I’d say it’s a pretty good bet.
Even if it’s not MOBE, it would be some other expensive training platform that works in a similar way.
If you join a platform like MOBE they put the hard sell on you to purchase expensive upsells that cost thousands of dollars each. The idea is to first buy each product so you can then be eligible to sell them as an affiliate and earn big commissions.
To buy all the products in a program such as MOBE will cost you around $50k. That’s some big bucks right there, and you haven’t actually made any money yet.
Target Audience
These scammers target people looking for a way to make some easy money online that doesn’t interfere with their everyday life. They also target those hoping to find an online career, where they can work from home and ditch their day job.
Generally this type of thing will be aimed at people who are new to making money online, as experienced marketers wouldn’t have a bar of something like this. They would see the red flags immediately, because they know full well that the internet doesn’t work that way.

- Karen Johnson is just a fake name, an alias
- There is no easy link posting job
- No major companies will pay people $15 to spam affiliate links
- This is likely a funnel site into MOBE or some other high ticket platform
- All the testimonials are fake
- There are no limited spots available
- The featured on the news deal is bogus
- I’ve seen this same scam around 20 or 30 times now
- You will be hit with very expensive upsells if you join
- These scammers will have your name, email address, phone number and credit card details if you sign up
- The testimonials and videos feature freelancers and paid actors
How Much Does Computer Experts Online Cost?
Well, the initial asking price is $97. What do you get for that? Likely a basic entry into the MOBE platform or something similar. From that point on you will be hit with offers to purchase expensive digital products and training packages.
They will claim that you can’t make the expected money until you first spend up big on other products. This could literally end up costing you tens of thousands of dollars.
Is Computer Experts Online a Scam?
This is a scam for sure. Even if they do funnel people into a platform that’s somewhat more legitimate, they are using lies and deception to do so.
I mean, they advertise a fake online job, then want people to pay them $97 so they can do this job.
When you apply for a “job”, YOU get paid. You don’t usually pay someone so you can work for them.
I’ve seen this exact same scam so many times now it’s not funny. This mob just keep reinventing the same scam over and over again to sucker people for their hard earned money. Stay well away from it. You’ll just get burned.
Do What I Do Online – I Know It Works
As I mentioned earlier, I do affiliate marketing for a living, so I know how it works. I’ve also been making money online in one form or another since 2004.
There are loads of ways to make money on the internet. Some people make some pocket change completing online surveys, while some affiliate marketers are pulling in over 7 figures annually.
It’s there to be done, so long as you avoid wasting your time and money on scams like Computer Experts Online.
The best way to be successful on the internet is to follow what other successful people do.
