I saw quite a few mentions of this paid survey platform online lately, so I decided to take a look at it to see if it was offering anything different or better compared to the multitude of other online survey platforms.
It’s good that you’re here reading this review of Make Survey Money, as it means you do some research before joining anything, which is a wise idea with there being so many scams online.
On my website I review all manner of platforms that claim they can help people make money, or teach people how to make money on the internet. Some stuff is really good, some is average or mediocre, while other schemes are just plain scams.

What Is Make Survey Money?
Make Survey Money is yet another paid survey platform to join all the other ones. When you go to their website and click on various links, you are often redirected to the Panel Place survey website, so either Make Survey Money was recently acquired by Panel Place, or the platform is working in conjunction with Panel Place.
The good thing about surveys is anyone’s capable of doing them. You can work from home any time of the day or night and earn a bit of extra income. Not much, mind you, but some. You’ll never make decent money doing paid surveys no matter how many platforms you join, because the payoff in exchange for your time is far too small to ever make a decent wage out of it.

Signing Up With Make Survey Money
Like most paid survey platforms, joining up is completely free of charge, and you wouldn’t want to have to pay a fee when you consider how little you really earn doing surveys.
You start off by entering the usual kind of information, such as your name and email address. But then the hassle starts to happen.
Normally on a survey site you input some information to join, then fill out some profile questions so the platform has more idea of what types of surveys to send your way. Make Survey Money starts offering you promotional deals. These are optional, but before you even begin they try to entice you into joining other stuff, probably because they earn affiliate commissions when you do.
This doesn’t happen just once, but multiple times throughout the initial joining process. For each list of offers you have to select whether you opt in or opt out. It’s actually pretty time consuming and you haven’t even got started with the actual surveys yet.
All the offers are optional, but it sure makes the sign up process long-winded and annoying to say the least.
Once you’ve gone through the 30+ offers you finally get to confirm your email address and actually gain access to the survey platform as a member.
How You Earn With Make Survey Money
Completing surveys is the main focus of the website, but there are other ways of earning with Make Survey Money as well.
Surveys
Before taking paying surveys you should first fill out your profile survey. It doesn’t take long, but it’s important, as the more information you give the platform the more survey opportunities you’ll get.
Under the “Surveys” tab you’ll find a list of available surveys and how much each survey is worth, as well as the approximate length of time it’ll take to complete the survey. The list looks great at first glance, but when you try to do any of the surveys you’ll be told that you don’t qualify. It’s almost like all the surveys on the list are fakes.
On another tab called “Daily Surveys”, you are greeted with a list of other survey platforms that you can join. Obviously again this platform earns a commission for every person they send through to these other platforms.

Incentive Offers
As mentioned this mob try to get you to sign up for other things, such as free trials, making pennies by watching promotional videos and so on. Kind of like a rewards site. It’s really nothing to be bothered with, as the free trials will lead to you paying to join offers if you forget to cancel them, and you make practically nothing for watching the videos.
If you agree to receive promotional emails sent to your inbox, you can earn very small rewards for opening them and reading them. You get to read 2 emails a day and earn 2 cents for each email, so you can make 4 cents a day from doing this. Wow.
Affiliate Referral Program
You can earn 15% of all revenue your direct referrals make. It wouldn’t amount to much, but if you get enough referrals then maybe the money could end up being a useful amount in total.
Getting Paid
You have the choice of receiving your payouts in either gift cards, or cash through PayPal. A third option is getting a check sent to you. Every survey site has an amount you need to reach before you can request a cash out. I couldn’t find how much that mark is on Make Survey Money, but it’ll likely be somewhere between $10 and $20.
Target Audience
This is aimed at anyone who wants to make a bit of extra cash on the side, although there really doesn’t seem to be much cash on offer on the Make Survey Money platform.
What I Like
- It’s possible to make some very small amounts of money
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- It seems almost impossible to qualify for a survey and I’m suspicious the surveys they list are fake
- This site seems more intent on getting members to sign up to other survey sites and offers, rather than giving members paid surveys to do
- I’d say the main focus is for Make Survey Money to earn affiliate commissions by sending its members to other offers and platforms
- The other incentives to earn revenue with this site really aren’t worth bothering with
- 2 cents to read an email is a joke
- There is a real lack of information on the website
How Much Does Make Survey Money Cost To Join?
There’s no fee to join the website, but if you start joining the free trial offers they send your way you could end up paying out money if you don’t cancel the offers before the trial period ends.
Is Make Survey Money a Scam?
To be honest I’m not sure if there’s any scam going on here, but Make Survey Money is unlike any other survey site I’ve ever joined or written a review on.
To me the surveys on the site look fake, and offering paid surveys just looks like an excuse for the person running this site to lure people in and try to entice them to sign up for other things. That seems to be where all the focus is.
Whoever runs this platform is obviously an affiliate of a bunch of other survey platforms and other things, where they earn commissions for every person they get to join.
I’d seriously give this one a miss.
Do What I Do To Make REAL Money Online!
Although doing paid surveys is okay for making some spare change in your spare time, it’s never going to make you decent money in exchange for your time. There are far better ways to earn on online income.
