~ Max International Reviews ~
What Is Max International?
So far I’ve reviewed countless MLM businesses operating in the health and wellness market, and there are many more out there that I haven’t reviewed. Max International is yet another one selling health and wellness products. I don’t know why these MLM companies can’t think of something different to sell. This niche is super saturated in every sense. But anyway.
Based out of Utah in the US, Max International sell two dreams:
- Living a healthy lifestyle
- Living the dream lifestyle with your own business
The real facts are that most people fail at MLM ventures and the majority of these so-called “health” products hitting the market day after day proclaim unfounded health benefits. The products are always way over-priced and making money from a MLM structure has got to be one of the hardest gigs there is as a lowly distributor.
The biggest claim to fame Max International have is that they feature Chuck Norris endorsing their products.
To make more sales and recruit more members, you really need your own website. Check out the free Wealthy Affiliate training to see just how easy it is.
The Products
Glutathione is a substance that lives in every cell in the human body. It acts as a powerful antioxidant, and Max International claim their product range helps to increase levels of this nutrient, leading to better health and less risk of diabolical diseases such as cancer.
Creator of Max International, Steven Scott, got together with research doctor, Robert Keller, and came up with the formula for their products, so the outcome is an increase in all-important Glutathione.
As the purpose of this review is more focused on the business opportunity attached to the Max International company, I won’t get right into the products here. You can always check them out in more detail on their website.
Here’s a snippet of the range available:
- Cellgevity
- Max ATP
- Max One
- Meta-Switch
- Max 3-5-7
- Max N-Fuze
- Max GXL
- Protein Bars
- Visible Solutions Skincare Range
The Visible Solutions logo almost looks like a rip off of the Vidal Sassoon logo. That’s what I thought it was at first.
All the other products are designed to supply you with vitamins, minerals, energy and so on, with the base formulation being one that increases Glutathione in your cells.
The prices are expensive and as an example, a bottle of Max One pills costs $75.
The Max International Business Opportunity
This will be a tough sell. Not only are the products typically expensive, there is an absolute overload of health and wellness products in the marketplace, both from MLM companies and other manufacturers and retailers.
MLM is a very hard way to make money. They always promote these deals as running your own business, but you don’t actually own a business. You just buy the right to be a sales rep of Max International. They own everything and call all the shots, including the price of the products. You control virtually nothing. And if you don’t tow the line with everything they ask and expect of you, you lose your active status and rights to earn commissions and bonuses.
To me MLM ventures offer up the crappiest deals for making money. They essentially get themselves a giant workforce that works for free, doing all the buying, selling and promoting. Awesome deal for Max International. Not so for the distributors.
Yes, you can earn commissions and bonuses, but these companies don’t have to spend on advertising or wages. That’s why they all choose the MLM route. All the advantages go to the company.

The Compensation Plan
To get involved in the business side you first have to pay the joining fee of $49. This is renewable every year at $35 per year thereafter. On top of that you must purchase a starter kit. The cheapest one is $179.
To maintain your active status you either have to purchase for yourself or sell a minimum $100 of product every single month.
It’s getting super expensive already, and you’re nothing but an unpaid sales rep.
One good thing about Max International is they do actually have some training to help you get started. This training goes for 90 days. Most MLM companies rarely offer much in the way of official training, leaving it up to your sponsor to show you the ropes. Once again putting the onus and workload onto the distributors.
There are a number of ways you can earn:
- Retail sales
- Earn commissions from your recruits
- Customer bonus
- Fast track bonuses
- Volume bonuses
- Global bonus
- Bonus for rank achievement
- Moving up the company ranks
As with all multi level marketing systems there are various ranks you can aim for that get you more bonuses and more income:
- Associate
- Senior Associate
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Double Diamond
- Triple Diamond
- Crown Diamond
Here’s a link to their official compensation plan PDF.
Below you can watch a video that describes the opportunity more fully.
Is Max International An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?
An illegal pyramid scheme is a multi level marketing platform that relies completely on recruitment to continue operations and has no products of any real value.
While Max International does work on a pyramid structure, they do have real products and those products can also be sold at a retail level. For this reason they are not an illegal pyramid scheme.
Target Audience
The health and wellness MLM companies target people both looking to improve their overall wellbeing, as well as people looking for a way to make some extra income without having to create something from scratch.
What I Like
- They actually offer training to help distributors learn how to effectively market the products and recruit others
What I Don’t Like
- It’s just another company in the MLM business selling vitamins and other wellness products
- This niche is so saturated it’s beyond a joke
- Trying the make money in any MLM venture is near impossible
- The average distributor fails at MLM
- The average earnings for MLM are less than $1000 a year before expenses
- Max International really isn’t offering anything new here
- Their compensation plan is mega confusing
How Much Does Max International Cost?
We pretty much covered this in the compensation plan, but just to recap. You have to pay a joining fee of $49 for the first year and $35 for every year after that. At a minimum you will need to spend $179 on a starter kit and buy and sell $100 worth of products every single month to remain active.
Is Max International a Scam?
It’s not a scam, but there’s nothing great about it either. So Max International make their magic pills and potions sound a little different by targeting increases in antioxidant levels. So what. Probably all the other wellness products out there do the same thing.
Making money from a super saturated niche with the MLM business model will be incredibly tough going. Not only are the products way expensive, you are competing in a market absolutely flooded with these offers. On top of that you’re trying to recruit people into yet another MLM selling wellness products. There are literally hundreds of these companies out there.
Good luck with that.
Forget MLM – Make Serious Money With Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a way better option if you want to run your own business. You can do it entirely online and promote products to a global market. I’ve been doing it for a few years now. My expenses are way low and I make more than a fulltime income out of it working from home or wherever I like.
You don’t need to buy and sell products, ship anything or recruit downlines. You simply promote and earn commissions. Quality training will show you how.
